the tailgate on the Ridgeline opens like a truck tailgate and like a door. Does the pollock prevent opening the tailgate both ways

The Pop & Lock # PL6200 locking tailgate handle replaces the OEM handle and will prevent your tailgate from being opened period, whether it be swinging to the side or tilting downward. If you wanted the lock to be powered along with your doors, you'd add the # PL8630 power upgrade kit. This will also work if you have the factory back up camera.
