Hello, everybody, this is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this replacement spring and cable kit for the Gorilla Lift trailer tailgate lift assist, for a quantity of one. Now this'll replace a broken or damaged spring and cable on one side of your Gorilla Lift tailgate lift assist. Now that lift assist, we do sell separate on our website, it's part number GL1. And basically what this does is this spring is what'll install inside the lift assist and then the cable comes out and attaches to your tailgate, so it makes it easier when you lift your tailgate. The spring will help you lift it, so it doesn't make it as hard.
The cable diameter on this is 0.15 of an inch, which is roughly about 5/32 of an inch. The cable length, the total cable length is about 53 inches. The spring length is right at 25 inches, and this is for a quantity of one spring and cable. But that should do it for the review on the replacement spring and cable kit for the Gorilla Lift trailer tailgate lift assist..

Replaces spring and cable (enough for 1 side) for Gorilla Lift utility trailer tailgate lift assist (GL1).I don't think this is what the spring was intended for but it works for my project. I recently reinforced the garage door on my Toy Hauler and it's a little heavier. This spring makes it a lot easier to lift.
Efficient to order but shipping information was slow to receive.

Both products are very helpful. I do plan on buying more of the tie down straps.
We ordered parts for our Gorilla Lift from etrailer.com. We have 3 landscape trailers and all of them are equipped with Gorilla Lifts. When we need parts, we always order from etrailer.com and they ship them quickly at a good price.
As i have come to expect my order was easily placed, and while price is somewhat of a factor in choosing etrailer, the reviews cinched the decision.
At one point i had a question and it was promptly and efficiently and best of all very politely, answered.
The package was supposed ro be delivered next week but it showed up 3 days early. Another plus in todays “i want it now” world.
I will and have recommended them to others.

Okay but in trying to weld bar to trailer the bar has such thin steel it burned through the bar.
