I hate the type of coupler that comes stock with the DK2 Mighty Multi Utility trailer. How wide is the coulpler that now comes standard in this kit?

The coupler on the Detail K2 Mighty Multi A-Frame Utility Trailer # K2MMT5X7 is for a 2" wide frame and has 3" on center bolt holes.
The Curt QuickPin No-Latch Trailer Coupler # C82CR will bolt in place of the coupler that comes with the kit. It does not use a latch but will instead use a pin to hold the trailer onto the ball.
I recommend the Lock N Roll Articulating Channel Tongue Trailer Coupler # 336TS528. This coupler will reduce eliminate the slop of the ball type connection giving you a smoother ride and less noise when traveling on the road. You will need a Vehicle Side Hitch # 336VS503507 for 1-1/4" receivers or # 336VS503505 for 2" receivers.
