Installing a Brake Controller on 2011 Chevy Express Passenger Van
Question:
I have a journey 52650 brake controller that I just got for my birthday and want to install it myself on my 2011 chev 3500 express van PASSENGER and want to buy the quick connect at the controller and also BUY the quick connect at the rear tailights to a 7 way flat plug I already just barely bolted on. no wires attached yet. WHAT BRAND AND PART NUMBER OF THE QUICK CONNECT HARNESS DO I NEED?

There is nothing specifically referred to as a quick connect, but in order to install a brake controller you will need a 4-way harness # 118392 which plugs in behind the trim panels in the cargo area on you 2011 Chevy Express Van. You will then need to install the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7 which will include a 7-way plug.
I've added links to reviews of these products for you to take a look at, as well as help articles on brake controllers and installing brake controllers that should be useful.
