Trailer Adapter Needed For a 2011 Volkswagen Touareg Towing a Trailer with LED Lights

I am getting a 2011 Touareg TDI with factory hitch. Understand I need some kind of adapter on the vehicle for the trailer lights. Trailer has 5 pole flat connector, LED lights, what adapter do I need? Part number?

The 7-Way to 5-Way and 4-Way Trailer Adapter, # C35FR, that you have referenced is the part you need. It is specifically designed to work on a 2007 and newer Volkswagen Touareg when towing a trailer that is equipped with LED lights. Your Touareg will need to already have a 7-Way trailer connector and this this adapter will plug into it. The 5-Way trailer connector will then plug into the back of the adapter and that will be all you need.
