For a tandem axle trailer rated for 7000 lbs, you can use either a Load Range C or D tire. Each axle will be rated for 3500 lbs so you need a tire that will carry 1/2 that capacity. That would make your minimum load range before limiting your system or 1750 lbs. The Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire w/ 15" White Mod Wheel - 5 on 4-1/2 - Load Range C # TA47VR are rated for 1820 lbs at 50 psi and have a speed rating of up to 81 mph. This is a great tire, so the only reason for an upgrade to load range D is a higher ply rating on the sidewall of your tire.
If you want that, I recommend the Provider ST205/75R15 Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Vesper Silver Mod Wheel # MX97FR with a 2150 lb capacity at 65 psi and the same speed rating of up to 81 mph.

I just bought a twin axle trailer, it's heavy duty, it was used to carry a small excavater at one time. I am going to use it to carry my golf cart. My "Q" is, can l register this trailer as in a "lite class" catagory?

Would a st205/75r15 omni trail tire work for a 26 foot tandem axle rv 3500 gvw front and rear. It is class D 8 ply 107 tire load index. thank you
