Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars Installation - 2018 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2018 Ford fusion we're going to be doing a test fit on the Thule Evo Wing Bar Roof Rack System. I've already got it in place as you can see here. With this system in place, that's going to allow us to carry bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo boxes, and much more. It features 53 inch long crossbars. You can see how they stretch out the entire roof here on our Fusion. Yakima Roof Rack Installation - 2018 Ford Fusion

Today, with 2018 Ford Fusion, we're gonna be doing a test fit on the Yakima JetStream Crossbar Roof Rack System. I've already got it in place so you can get a good look. With this system, it's gonna allow you to carry bike racks, cargo carriers, kayak carriers, and more. Now this roof rack is specifically designed to fit the naked roof of your Fusion. The JetStream Crossbars are 50 inches long. You can see how they can span across the entire roof.

Inno Roof Rack Review - 2018 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2018 Ford Fusion, we're going to be performing a test fit for our Inno Aero roof rack system.This Inno roof rack system is going to allow us to carry roof mounted accessories on our Fusion. Things like roof mounted bike racks, kayak carriers, cargo baskets and more. It's going to allow us to us clamp on style accessories, as well as T-track accessories.Now our crossbars are going to allow us to use about 38" of usable space from end to end. There's about 2" of clearance from the bottom of the bar to the top of the roof. They're also an aerodynamic design, which means they're a lot quieter when traveling down the road, than your traditional round or square bars.Now, our bars are flush mount design, which means that they're going to end at the edge of your vehicle and not overhang. Also, our end caps here are nice and smooth, and kind of offer that more factory look.



Inno Roof Rack Review - 2018 Ford Fusion

Speaker 1: Today, we have a 2018 Ford Fusion. We're going to be taking a look at the Inno Aero flush roof rack system. This consists of three parts. The bar is going to be, INXB115-2. Then we're also going to have the flush feet for the Aero crossbars. That's going to be part number INXS200.



Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2013 Ford Fusion

Speaker 1: Today, we have a 2013 Ford Fusion. We're going to be test fitting the Yakima JetStream roof rack system, consisting of part numbers Y00426. These are the JetStream crossbars up at the top here. These also come in silver. We'll also be using the baseline towers here, part number Y00146. And finally, we'll be using the fit kit here, and that's going to be part number Y00110.



SeaSucker Roof Rack Review - 2013 Ford Fusion

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2013 Ford Fusion, we're going to be test-fitting the Seasucker monkey bar roof rack system with 48-inch crossbars. This is going to part number 298-SX6000.What makes this unique from the other roof rack systems for the Fusion is the fact that it utilizes these suction mounts to attach to your roof as opposed to the clamps that go underneath your door frame. So there's a lot less putting together needed necessarily for this as opposed to the others. Once installed, the suction cup mounts have 210 pounds of pull pressure. And this is a great roof rack system to carry a wide variety of accessories ranging from bike racks to cargo baskets to cargo boxes. And these can be adjusted back and forth to accommodate different style roofs.As you can see we have this sunroof here and it's not going to come into contact with our roof rack, because we we're able to move it out of the way.



Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2011 Ford Fusion

Speaker 1: Today, on our 2011 Ford Fusion, we're going to be installing the Yakima core bar crossbars, part numbers Y00422, Y100146, Y06102, and Y06159. This is a way to git a roof rack on your car when you have no factory raised rails or a location to install them. They're clamp-on. It's got a 60 inch crossbar with an aerodynamic design that'll help reduce wind noise and drag. There's no T slots or anything on this one, unlike some of the other models. However, it should work with most clamper on accessories.And when comparing this with some of the other Yakima models, this is kind of the mid-tier.



Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2011 Ford Fusion

Speaker 1: Today on our 2011 Ford Fusion, we're going to be installing the Rhino Rack Roof Rack, part numbers RRVA-126B-2RRRLKVA, and DK149.While it looks great blacked out, it also comes in silver.These 49-inch crossbars are great for hauling multiple bikes, kayaks, cargo carriers, cargo baskets, and any other of your favorite accessories.Compared to other bars, these are going to be quieter. They've got this aerodynamic design. You can load up all kinds of accessories with T-slots. Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2013 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2013 Ford Fusion we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Rhino Rack roof rack system. This is going to consist of the Rhino Rack's vortex arrow cross bars, part number RRVA126B-2. Our cross bars are also available in silver, part number RRVA126S-2. The Rhino Rack 2500 series legs, part number RRRLKVA and the custom fit kit for our Ford Fusion, part number DK358. The Rhino Rack roof rack system is a great solution for carrying your vehicle's accessories on your roof, whether those are bike racks, cargo baskets, ski and snowboard carriers, or kayak carriers. The aerodynamic shape of the bar as well as the weather strip in the middle are going to help to prevent wind noise and drag. If we remove the end cap on our cross bar, we can also remove our weather strip, cut it down and place in channel mounted accessories. The plastic core on our end cap can be removed and replaced with a metal lock cord to help prevent theft and tampering.



Thule AeroBlade Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2013 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2013 Ford Fusion we'll be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Thule Roof Rack System. This is going to consist of the Thule Aeroblade Crossbars, part number THARB53. The Thule Rapid Traverse Foot Pack, part number TH480R, and the Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit for our Ford Fusion, part number THKIT1692. The Thule Roof Rack System is a great solution for carrying your vehicle accessories on your roof. The aerodynamic shape of the bar is going to reduce wind noise and drag, and the weather strip will keep any dirt, debris, or liquid from getting inside your crossbar. If we open up the cover on our end cap we can easily remove that weather strip cut it down, or replace it. We can also mount channel mounted accessories in that area as well.



Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2016 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2016 Ford Fusion we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Cross Bars. Part number for our kit here is RRRS547B. This kit comes with everything that you see that will help you to install this on your vehicle. The only thing that you will need to provide is a flat tape measure or a regular tape measure like the one we have here. Everything else, again is included. We started out, we already got our front cross bar in place. We're going to show you how to put the last foot together.



Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. The part number for the crossbars is RRVA126B-2. For the foot pack here, it's RRRLKVA, and for the fit kit for our Ford Fusion is DK358. We've already got our front crossbar on and one of our feet on. We're going to show you how we put together the last foot pack and fit kit. We'll take off this plastic piece here. We want to take our rubber piece and make sure that the arrows are both facing up and you fit that on making sure it's completely sealed around there.



Inno Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're doing a test fit of the Inno square bars. Part number for the bars is INB147, for our foot pack here, it's INSU-K5, and for our fit kit for the Fusion, is INK354. Now we've already got our front crossbar on, and we've already got our one foot on on the back bar. I'm going to show you how we put these foot packs together, and then lower it up onto our vehicle. So we're going to take our rubber pad first. Make sure this lip is facing towards the back of the foot pack. That just pops right on.



Thule Roof Rack Review - 2014 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2014 Ford Fusion we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System. As you can see, we've already got our first one up here on the front, so you can see how it's going to look and fit. To install this, you're going to need to place the front one on, first, spacing it off the front windshield, to the front of the foot pack here, which we'll go over, at 11 inches. Then on the inside, you'll see a scale, which we'll go over also in a moment, that you'll need to adjust to 47 1/2. On that scale, all the numbers will be on there, so you can see how that's done. Also, be aware and pay attention to the directions and instructions that you place the proper feet and the proper clamps on the proper side that you wish to have it on. Let's go over the parts here that we have laid out in front of us to place on that back bar.



Thule Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack system with the Rapid Traverse Foot Packs. This roof rack is going to have part number THARB60 which is going to be your AeroBlade. It's also going to part number TH480R which is going to be your pedestals 00:00:24 and Rapid Traverse Foot Packs. As well as your fit kit for the specific vehicle, which is the '15 Fusion and it's going to be part number THKIT1692. As you can see up on our vehicle, we already have the front bar in place. We spaced it out, from the instructions, and it's going to be 11 inches from the edge of your window to the beginning of the Foot Pack.



Yakima Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Q Tower Roof Rack System. The first thing we're going to discuss is going to be the parts that you are going to need. The bar is going to be Y00409. You'll also need 2 sets of clips. You're going to have your Y00724, which are going to be your rear clips and pads for the feet. You're going the have your Q towers, which are going to be Y00124 and then on the front bars that we have up on the vehicle already, you have a different set of clips, which is going be Y00749.



Thule Roof Rack Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today, on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System. This is going to be your AeroBlade setup. Looking down at the parts that we have on the table . You're going to have THARB53, which will be your Thule AeroBlade. We will also have our Rapid Traverse Foot Packs, which are going to be part #TH480R. Then our Vehicle-Specific Fit Kit, which is going to be THKIT1692.



Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2014 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2014 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack System. We're using the 49" bars, part number RRVA126B-2. The foot packs themselves are part number RRRVALK, and we've got the clip and pad, part number DK348. As you can see, the clamp, or the clip, that goes around the underside is secured just by removing the bolt, placing it on, and threading the bolt back through, and our foot pad simply presses on the bottom. You will want to refer to your instructions. It's going to indicate which way this arrow should be pointing, in this case it's out, and also which way this arrow should be pointing, again it's out. We already have the front bar installed.



Thule Traverse Roof Rack Installation - 2012 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion we'll be test fitting the Thule Square Load Bar System using part number thlb50, the Thule Traverse Roof Rack Foot Pack, part number th480 and the Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit for the Traverse Foot, part number thkit1529. With our roof rack assembled according to the instructions we'll begin our test fit by opening our front doors.Now we'll place our front bar under the front part of our roof. To make sure that we have this in the correct location we need to measure eight inches from the leading edge of the windshield to the closest edge of our foot pack. We'll do this measurement for both the passenger and driver's side to make sure that our feet are in line with each other.We'll fit the clamp around the edge of our door frame and then use the included tool to tighten it down. We'll make our way from side to side tightening little by little to make sure we don't lose our position. Once we have it tight we can slide the tool into the foot pack and close the cover.

Kuat TRIO Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Ford Fusion

Today on our 20014 Ford Fusion we're going to be doing a test fit of the Kuat Trio Rooftop-Mounted Bike Rack. You can see that we already have our bike up here fork-mounted to this rack on top of our aftermarket bars. This will fit most all of your aftermarket crossbar systems, whether that be your aero type, your elliptical type, your factory square bars, or your round bars. With our bike up here let's go ahead and talk about how it's secured to our rack and then how it's secured to our vehicle. This is going to be part number TR02. First things first. We're going to talk about the skewer on the front.



Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2014 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint. This will be your rooftop mounted bike rack for a single bike and it's going to mount via the T track system. As you can see here, you'll have your T track mounts and we'll show you how those all go in place. We do have our arrow blades on here but it will work with most all of your racks that have T track systems. In order to expose our T tracks, we'll need to remove the ends off of our crossbars, just like so and we'll set those off to the side. You can either do this two ways, you can cut and make a custom fit spot for that to fit so you can trim your rubber piece on the inside here or you can remove the whole thing while you have your rack on and then placing your rubber protective strip back in after you're done. Whichever you decide to do, whatever is going to fit your lifestyle the best.



Thule Sprint Roof Bike Racks Review - 2014 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2014 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint. This will be your rooftop mounted bike rack for the fork of your bike and a single bike, part number TH528. As you can see, it's going to be a clamp-on design that's going to go around your crossbar system, whatever crossbar system they may be, whether that be an aero tight bar like we have on here today, or if you have your factory crossbars, elliptical bars, round bars, or square bars. This will work with all of those. Let's go ahead and start off by showing you how the bike mounts up. On the front, it's going to mount with your fork, and on the back you're going to have a safety strap around that rear wheel. To disengage the safety strap, we're going to press that gray button in, press the strap out until we can grab a hold of it, removing it from around the wheel.



Thule Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Sprint. This is going to be your track-mounted, rooftop-mounted bike rack. As you can see, we have our AeroBlades up here. We're going to be placing this inside of here and showing you how it looks and fits today. First step we're going to do is to remove the end caps from the AeroBlades. Then for this application because if you do decide to get this rack, you will need to trim out the rubber here.



Thule Sprint Roof Bike Racks Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit to the Thule Spring. This is going to be your rooftop mounted bike rack. It's going to mount on top of either your factory or your aero type bars that we have on here today. It's going to be part number TH528. We're going to show you how it fits and looks. First step in doing so is to make sure that you have the straps undone from the end.



RockyMounts TieRod Stretch Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion well be test fitting RockyMounts Tierod Stretch Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number rky1011. With a Thule Aeroblade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing our Tierod directly onto our load bars. Well remove the black plastic cover and then bring the rubber-coated straps around our front load bar. Well fit them back into the head and then use an Allen key to tighten down the Allen bolt. We can then replace the black plastic cover. Now Ill move to the rear and bring the bracket around our rear load bar.



Thule Domestique Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion, we'll be test fitting the Thule domestique roof mounted bike carrier. Part number TH513. To mount the bike carrier up on top of our roof rack, we'll set the head of the bike carrier on top of our frontload bar. We'll fit the clamp around and tighten it down with the included alen wrench. At the rear of the bike rack, we'll position the clamp over the rear load bar and again use the included alen key to tighten it down. With our bike rack secured to the roof rack, we'll re-install the skewer at the front of the rack.



Swagman Fork Down Roof Bike Rack Review - 2012 Ford Fusion

Today on this 2012 Ford Fusion, we're going to be test fitting the Swagman Fork Down Roof Mounted Bike Carrier, part number S64710.We already have the carrier assembled according to the instructions and now we're ready to mount it up on the vehicle. We'll place the bike rack up on top of our load bars. We'll take the two U-bolts at the front, feed them around our load bar and tighten them down with the included wing nuts. Then we'll move to the back, position the rear U-bolt and tighten it around our rear load bar. Once we have done that, we're ready to mount up our bicycle. We'll place the rear wheel of our bike in the wheel tray and position the front fork down in the skewer.

Inno Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion we're doing a test fit of the Inno Shadow Series Cargo Box. It has 11 cubic feet of space in the inside and has a carbon fiber finish. It also comes with four memory clamps. These are the memory clamps, and by that, whenever you set your clamps into place using the gray knob here, and you fold it down, that's going to remember that fit for your crossbars, so you don't have to keep setting it each time. They also feature tie-down points here as well. To open up our cargo box, we want to unlock one side at a time. We'll push our black button here and lift up on the lid.



Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2014 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2014 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket. Now, it's going to be part number TH859. This basket is going to be 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, have a depth of 6 inches in the middle, and with a sturdy steel construction, it's going to offer a 150-pound weight capacity. Now as you can see, we've already got the front feet in place and around our crossbar. If you choose to place it on your crossbars, you need to make sure that before you place it on here that you adjust your feet because it's going to make for a whole lot easier installation instead of trying to adjust them once you get it up on your crossbars. Once you have those adjusted and in place, you can then very easily take your U-bolt, place 2 washers on each one, then place your 2 thumb screws just barely started on. Then, we'll take, place it underneath the crossbar and set it into place, placing a washer and a thumb screw over the top of each bracket.



Thule Hyper XL Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Hyper XL. It's going to have 17 cubic feet of cargo space, and come in that nice silver and black two-tone finish. It's going to be part number TH612. We're going to show you how it goes up here, on top of our vehicle, and mounts to our Thule AeroBlades that we already have installed. Now, note that it will work with either your round bars, square bars, even your factory cross bars if you have them in place, as well. First thing we're going to do is lift it up on top of our cross bars. Once you have it sitting like this, you'll be able to make sure that your feet are open and ready to receive your cross bars.



Yakima RocketBox Pro Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 11. This will have 11 cubic feet of cargo space and come with a nice, black finish. This is going to be part number Y07193. If you turn your eyes to the top of the vehicle, you'll see that we have the Yakima round bars installed, that's where we're going to be putting it on today. This roof box will fit almost all of your after market and factory roof rails. Let's go ahead and place it up on top of the vehicle and do our first steps which is going to be to open up our feet and make sure that they're ready to receive the rails. Slide it in front of the rail.



Yakima RocketBox Pro Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Rocketbox Pro 14. This is going to be your 14 cubic feet of storage space. It's 74 inches long by 33 inches wide and has 16 inches of depth. It does have your nice black finish. It does open from both sides. It's going to be part number Y07192.



Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we'll be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon. This would be your rooftop mounted cargo basket. This basket is forty nine inches long, forty inches wide, it is six inches deep with a steel construction and a hundred and fifty pound weight capacity. As you can see, we have it mounted onto our Thule Arrow Blade Rapid Traverse system and we're going to be showing you how to put on the last of the four feet because they all go on the same way it makes it really easy to do it this way. Looking at it, you'll have to adjust before you even get it on to the vehicle. Before you start mounting it, I would set it up on here because you have to adjust each of the foot pads to fit your specific crossbar spread. Today's crossbar spread for this particular vehicle with rack and everything else is twenty five inches.



Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2009 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2009 Ford Fusion, we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Roof Top Cargo Box, with 13 cubic feet of space, glossy black in color, part number TH634B. With the Thule Rapid Traverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. We'll unlock the box, and open the lid, exposing the 2 closest knobs. We can turn the knobs, to tighten down the clamps, up against the bars. You'll know when the clamps have been fully tightened down, when the knob starts to make a clicking sound. We can move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Now this double sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, that'll complete today's test fit for the Thule Sonic Medium, part number TH634B on our 2009 Ford Fusion.



Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2009 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2009 Ford Fusion we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box with 22 cubic feet of space, metallic silver in color, Part Number TH636S. With a Thule Rapid Reverse Roof Rack System on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's load bars. After positioning the box to fit over the bars, we can unlock the box and open the lid exposing the two closest knobs. We can turn the knobs to tighten on the clamps up against the front and rear bar. You'll know when the clamps have been fully tightened down when the knobs starts to click. We can then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process.



Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2009 Ford Fusion

Man: Today on our 2009 Ford Fusion we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large Rooftop Cargo Box with 16 cubic feet of space, matte black in color, Part Number TH615. With a Thule Rapid Traverse Roof RackSystem on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box upon to the vehicle's load bars. Because it only opens from one side,we'llneed to position it on the passenger side of the vehicle. We'll unlock the box and open the lid exposing the four slots on the bottom of the box. We'll take the clamps, slide them downthrough the slots over top each bar turning the knobs to tightendown the clamps. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, that'll complete today's test fit for the Thule Pulse Large, Part Number TH615on our 2009 Ford Fusion.

With the Thule rapid traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up on to the vehicles load bars. Now this box only opens from one side, so youll need to position it on the passenger side of your vehicle. With the box in place, we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We can take the clamps, slide them down through the slots over the top of each bar and then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps. Today in our 2009 Ford Fusion, we'll be tested in the thule pulse alpine rooftop cargo box with a 11 cubic feet of space, mad black in color, part number Th613. With the thule rapid traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test phase by placing the cargo box up on the vehicles load bars. Now, since this box only opens from one side, you'll need to position it on the passenger side of your vehicle. Today, our 2009 Ford Fusion will be tested within the Thule force medium rooftop cargo box with 13 cubic feet of space, aeroskin black in color, part number Th624. With the Thule rapid traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing the cargo box up onto the vehicle's loadbars. With the box in position, we can unlock it and open the lid exposing the2 closest knobs. We can then turn the knobs to tighten down the clamps up against the bars. We'll then move to the other side of the vehicle and repeat the same process. Now this double sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. Once everything is all tightened down and secured, that will complete today's test fit for the Thule force medium part number Th624 on our 2009 Ford Fusion.



Rhino-Rack Master-Fit Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2009 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2009 Ford Fusion, well be test fitting the Rhino Rack Master Fit Rooftop Cargo Box with 14 cubic feet space, silver in color, part number RMF400. With the Thule rapid traverse roof rack system on our vehicle, well begin our test fit by sliding the cargo box up on to the vehicles load bars. After positioning the box where we want it on the roof, well unlock the box and open the lid exposing the four slots in the bottom of the box. We can take the clamps, slide them down through the two closest slots and turn the grey knobs to tighten down the clamps up against the bars. We can move to the other side of our vehicle and then repeat the same process. Now this double sided opening lid will also enable you to easily load and unload your cargo from either side of the vehicle. Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion, we'll be test fitting the Thule Pulse Large rooftop cargo box, 16 cubic feet in met black, part number TH615. With the Thule aero blade roof rack system assembled on our vehicle, we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars. Since this box opens from one side only, we're going to scoot it as far toward the passenger's side of the vehicle as we can. We'll open the box and feed the clamps through the appropriate slots so that the seat of each clamp goes around our load bars. Once we have them in place, we'll make our way around to each clamp using the hand knob to tighten it down. Please be aware that depending on where you situate your cargo box, you may have to remove your rear antenna.



Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic XXL Rooftop Cargo Box measuring 22 cubic feet in metallic silver, part number th636s. With the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing the sonic directly on top of our load bars.As we place it on top of our load bars we can go ahead and adjust the feet so they fit around each load bar. In order to get this box to fit we did have to remove the rear antenna. We'll open the passenger side of the box and use the hand knobs on the inside of the box to tighten down each clamp.We'll know that its tight enough when we start hearing the clicking sound. We'll close the box and then go over to the other side and open the driver's side of the box. We'll tighten the two remaining clamps on this side by tightening each hand knob.

Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion we'll be test fitting the Thule Sonic Medium Rooftop Cargo Box, 13 Cubic Feet in glossy black, part number th634b. With the Thule AeroBlade Roof Rack System assembled onto our vehicle we'll begin our test fit by placing our cargo box directly onto our load bars.As we sit it onto our bars we can adjust the feet as necessary to fit around each bar. Please note that depending on where you decide to place the cargo box you may have to remove the rear antenna. Once we have the box situated we can open one side of the dual opening box and tighten the two feet on that side.All we have to do is use the hand knob and tighten until we hear the clicking noise. Now we'll move to the other side, open the box and tighten the two remaining clamps. With our box all loaded up we're ready to go.





Thule Force XXL Rooftop Cargo Box Review - 2012 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2012 Ford Fusion, we'll be test fitting the Thule Force XXL rooftop cargo box, 21 cubic feet, in Aeroskin black, part number TH626. With the Thule Aeroblade roof rack system assembled onto our vehicle, we'll begin by placing our Thule Force directly onto our load bars. Please note, in order to get this cargo box to fit, we did have to remove the rear antenna. As we place the box onto the bars, we can adjust the feet as necessary to fit around each load bar. One of the great features of this cargo box is its ability to open from either side of the vehicle. We'll open the passenger side of the cargo box and tighten the two clamps.

Today on our 2013 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima FatCat 6 Ski and Snowboard carrier. You can see that we've already got our back one up in place. We're going to show you how to put on that front one. This is going to be part number Y03088. Really simple and easy to do installation, it's going to give you the ability to carry up to six skis and four snowboards. First thing we're going to do is make sure that we have the straps undone.

Today on our 2013 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Whispbar Ski and Snowboard Carrier. Now, this is going to be a locking ski and snowboard carrier for the top of our vehicle. We're going to be placing on that front bar. You can see that we've already got one on the back side that's already fully-assembled and in place, so you can get an idea of how high it's going to sit up and what it's going to look like. This is going to be part number WB-300. Go ahead and rotate these feet since we're going to be putting it on our driver's side and not the typical passenger side. On the front here, we're going to lift it up to where the notch comes out and the strap falls down.



Yakima FatCat Ski and Snowboard Racks Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Yakima Fat Cat 6, this is going to be your four snowboard or six ski carrier for your rooftop mounted cargo rack. It's going to be part number Y03088 and as you can see, we've already got one mounted up here on our vehicle. We're going to show you how to install the other one and how it looks and fits. The first thing you're going to want to do is undo the straps. They have a little ledge here that it sits inside of, so when it closes up it looks like so. We'll undo those straps and make sure they're loose and ready to receive your rail. Place it up on top of the rail with the strap coming underneath and we're going to lightly place this one on.

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Whispbar Rooftop Mounted Ski and Snowboard Carrier. This is going to fit your either four snowboards or six skis and it is locking. As you can see, we already have one up on our vehicle. We're going to show you how this one fits up there and looks once you've got your skis and snowboards in it. It's going to be part number WB-300. First step is going to be to unlatch the back and pull the strap out of the grooves. Next, open up the top and make sure that the wing nuts in here are loosened all the way up.

Thule Watersport Carriers Review - 2015 Ford Fusion

Today on our 2015 Ford Fusion, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule SUP Shuttle, Stand Up Paddleboard Carrier that's going to go on top of your roof rack system. As you can see, we already have one up here and it's going to be on top of our Thule Aero Blades. This will be part number TH811XT. We're going to show you how it fits and looks on here today. First step in doing so is going to be to undo the fit flip brackets like so and extending it out all the way, or however wide you need it to fit your board. Now we'll place it on top and just set it there temporarily. Next we'll make sure we get a measurement from the side to make sure we get it on here evenly.



Thule SUP Taxi Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier Review - 2012 Ford Fusion

Today we have a 2012 Ford Fusion and we'll be test fitting the Thule SUP taxi stand up paddle board carrier, part number TH810. To mount the carrier up on top of our roof rack, we'll take the first half, set it on top of the load bar and feed speed link strap around. And we'll use the gray hand knob to tighten it down. We'll back and forth from driver side to passenger side to make sure we tighten down the system evenly. Once we have the first half attached, we can move on to the rear half and secure it on our rear load bar. With that the SUP is mounted and we're ready to load up and hit the road.
