Thule Roof Rack Review - 2013 Chevrolet Captiva Sport

Today, on our 2013 Chevrolet Captiva Sport, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Crossroads roof rack system. It's going to come with those nice arrow blades. Part number THARB47, and the rapid crossroads foot packs, which will be part number TH450R. You can see that we have already have that first one up on the vehicle. We're going to show you how to assemble the back one that's going to go on the back side of the vehicle now. So again, that's going to be part number THAARB47, which will be your arrow blade, and then you're going to have your rapid traverse, or rapid crossroads foot packs, which would be TH450R. So first thing we'll do is we'll go ahead and pull off the end caps, just like so, and your tool will be included there, and remove the end cap. Slide the foot pack on with the strap towards the inside just like so, and place the end cap back on.

Thule Hyper XL Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Captiva Sport

Today, on our 2013 Chevrolet Captiva, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Hyper XL. This is going to be your 17 cubic feet of cargo space, rooftop mounted cargo box with a two-tone black and silver finish. This is going to be part number TH-612. If you look up on top of our vehicle, you'll see that we have the nice aero blades already installed on our vehicle. We're going to show you how this looks up on top of those. First thing you're going to need to do is place the box up on top of the vehicle, just like so. Then adjust your feet and make sure that they're open and ready to receive your crossbars.



SportRack Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Captiva Sport

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Captiva we're going to be doing a test fit of the Sportrack Vista Rooftop Mounted Cargo Basket, part number SR9035. This cargo basket's going to have a sturdy steel construction with a 110 pound weight capacity. It'll be 44" long, 39 1/8" wide by 6" deep. As you can see we've already got two of our feet in place around our aero type bars and these will fit your square bars, round bars, elliptical bars, even your factory crossbars as well. We have the rear passenger also in place, we're going to show you how to place on the driver side rear today. First thing you want to do is place your spacer in between your basket and your crossbar system.



Thule Roof Cargo Carrier Review - 2013 Chevrolet Captiva Sport

Today on our 2013 Chevrolet Captiva Sport, we're going to be doing a test fit of the Thule Canyon Rooftop-Mounted Cargo Basket. Now this cargo basket's going to be part number TH859. It's going to measure 49 inches long, 40 inches wide, and have a depth of 6 inches. With its sturdy steel construction, it's going to have a 150-pound weight capacity. With its 150-pound weight capacity, you just need to make sure that your roof can support that just by checking your vehicle's owner manual before you get started. Now, with this, it's going to be sitting up on top of our Thule Aero Blades, and you're going to need to measure out your feet so using an Allen tool or Allen key, go ahead and loosen those up before you place it up on top, and measure from one side to the other to get your cross-bar spread. Then space those out and tighten them back down to that cross-bar spread so when you put it on, it makes for an easy installation.
