Features to know about

Built for Heavy Loads: 30,000 lbs GTW and 7,500 lbs Vertical Load

This underbed hitch is built to handle serious towing. With a gross towing weight of 30,000 lbs and a vertical load limit of 7,500 lbs, it’s made for hauling big livestock trailers, dump loads, or heavy fifth wheels. The single-piece, machined ball socket gives a strong, precise fit that stays solid even when the trailer is fully loaded. The square ball base keeps it from turning in the hitch so the connection stays tight and stable on every pull.

Full Bed Access When You’re Not Towing: Flip-Over Ball Design

When you’re not hitched up, you can reclaim your bed in just a couple of minutes. Pull the handle, remove the 2-5/16" ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back in for storage. The Turnoverball sits below the bed surface so nothing sticks up when you’re hauling hay, lumber, or tools. It’s one system that lets you tow hard one day and have a clean bed the next.

Simple Locking and Release: 5/8" Spring-Loaded Steel Pin at the Wheel Well

Locking and unlocking the hitch is fast and easy from the driver’s-side rear wheel well. The handle uses a 5/8" thick spring-loaded steel pin that slides all the way through the ball to secure it in place. That solid pin connection gives you peace of mind when towing heavy gear. The built-in spring-loaded safety-chain hookups are right there for quick access, and when the ball is stowed, its “corners-only” fit keeps dirt from building up inside the socket.

Straightforward Installation: Custom Mounting Kit with No Welding Required

The included custom mounting brackets bolt to existing frame holes for a strong fit without welding or removing the bed. You’ll just cut a 4" diameter hole for the ball and drill holes for the safety-chain loops. Once it’s bolted up, you’ve got a durable, powder-coated steel hitch ready to work long term without corrosion or extra maintenance.

E trailer has very fast shipping, B and W hitch had a very easy install with good directions

2016 Chevrolet Silverado 3500
I installed this yesterday, along with the Companion 5th Wheel Hitch. Very good instructions, well written, great illustrations. Everything fit perfectly, no struggles with alignment. Very good hardware. Looks to be very sturdily built, the welds looks great.

One thing to look out for - on my 2016 Chev 3500 anyway, the exhaust is in the way of drilling the passenger side retractable chain hook holes. You will need an angle drill or drill with a flexible extension cable. Or get your steel rule out and do some serious measuring like I did and drill the holes from the top down. I drilled the accessible driver's side, then transposed those measurements to the passenger side and drilled from the top using a small drill. After hitting the hole, I used progressively larger drills until I found the edge of the 1/2" hole in the center plate, then hogged out the hole the rest of the way with a Dremel grinder. Not a big deal, just had to get a little creative.

Over all, excellent experience, from the purchase, the help from customer service (fantastic people!), fast delivery and easy install.

Highly recommended!

Loved the quick shipping. Only had a few days to get this and it arrived with 1 day to spare. Had it installed at the dealer's, took a couple of hours. Hauled a heavy trailer over 400 miles with no problems. Worked great.

Had this hitch installed on a 2019 GMC Sierra Denali. I was very satisfied with both the hitch and the shipping. Just traded the Denali for a 2020 Chevy 3500 Dually last week which came with the gooseneck package so no longer have the hitch.

by:

Hitch arrived on time package was complete. Install was not a problem. All easy to follow instructions were included. I definitely would recommend!
by:
2017 Chevrolet Silverado 3500
The installation videos are pretty accurate all around. Admittedly, this took me a little longer than the projected time frame, which I anticipated. Removing the driver side wheel well insert also made torquing the bolts there easier. Installation would likely be easier with a buddy, and reaching the torque specifications on several bolts was difficult with a standard 1/2 inch drive torque wrench, but it was all possible and fit 100% perfectly. Excellent conversion for my 3500 8foot bed. Next step is to get the matching fifth wheel hitch and purchase our dream RV.

2019 GMC Sierra 2500
Looks to be made heavy duty I installed it at home in my garage fairly straight forward to do having never installed one haven’t had a chance to use it as I’m waiting on a trailer to be made
Note on install I did this laying on the floor I do recommend removing the rear tailpipe hanger and pulling down on the tailpipe to get extra room to slide the canter plate over the exhaust pipe also remove the composite shield on the spare and the spare tire I wasn’t in a hurry I took my time. Cutting the 4” hole I bought a new Milwaukee hole saw the teeth chipped and broke I don’t recommend it I have a 6’6” bed so the hole I cut was 44.75” plus 1/8th for the spray in liner DON’T use the factory dimple as you can see the instructions put my center just in front of the factory mark but it is centered

2018 Chevrolet Silverado 2500
I installed this hitch on a 2018 Chevy HD 2500 WT Duramax model. I'll first start off that etrailer is awesome to deal with.
Instructions were correct with no issues. B & W makes a nice product and it is heavy duty.
Having installed one of these hitches before, I already knew what to look for, so that made my life a bit easier. The other thing that made my life easier was installing it on a new truck (700 miles) haha.

So, I will give a little tip to installers of this hitch. There is a cross bar that is threaded, that the center section bolts to(The rear crossbar). There is 6 pre-tapped holes. DO yourself a favor and run a tap through those holes first. B & W does not cover the holes before they powder coat the part, so inserting the bolts would be a real pain. Also, measure twice (or more) for the bed hole, you don't want to screw that up. Take the measurement from the edge of the bed where the tailgate is, NOT from the front of the bed. Other than that, everything else was good and the fit was perfect.
Sorry, I don't have more pics, but I didn't think, I would be doing a review, plus I was trying to get it done.
Took about 4 hours to install, including running the wiring harness kit (separate) for the gooseneck trailer.

As for my nickname (Angry Johnny) I only cursed once....lol

2016 GMC Sierra 2500
I watched the video you guys had posted for my exact vehicle and that made the installation so much easier. Not that directions are hard to follow, but seeing it done live is the way to go. I'm one that likes to do things myself unless it's super cheap for an install, in this case everyone I talked to quoted around $350 to $450. My buddy and I did the install this past weekend and it turned out great. I hooked up to my gooseneck last night and im happy to say this hitch is awesome! Can't wait to show the wife how a gooseneck trailer rides so much better than a bumper pull, I'm trying to convince her to upgrade from a travel trailer to a fifth wheel, I think this will convince her.

I am happy with everything but the 4 inch offset hitch I purchased unlike the hitch itself once you enter truck do it Wii not let you screw up.
But not so on the off set I search the site for the 4 inch offset and it came up with Toyota I figured it was the same now I have found out I can order again to get the right one and send the one I got back . So your Web information or process gives you a false since of security that you are right ouch

There isn't an adapter, but there is a way to convert your B&W Companion Sliding 5th Wheel Hitch # BWRVK3400 to work in your 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 short bed with the factory puck system, which is simply to replace the base of the unit. All you need is the Replacement Slider Base for B&W OEM 5th Wheel Hitch - Chevy/GMC Towing Prep Package # BWRVB3770.
