Recommended 5th Wheel Hitch and Tonneau Cover for a 2019 Silverado 3500 w/a B&W Gooseneck Hitch

I just bought a 2019 Silverado 3500hd dually high country crew cab and a 8ft bed that has a bandw turnover ball. What Im looking to do is get a 5th wheel for the turnover ball, a under tonneau cover transfer tank and toolbox, and a tonneau cover that I can have part way open while hauling a 5th wheel or gooseneck. Can you advise me as what you feel would be the best setup for this? Thank in advance.

Hey Marcus, congrats on the new truck! Since your Silverado 3500 has the B&W Turnoverball item # BWGNRK1016, I recommend the B&W Companion item # BWRVK3500. This hitch has a 20,000 lbs capacity and will connect directly to the square gooseneck receiver in the bed of your Silverado. When installed there will be 31" of clearance from the back of the mounting legs to the front of your bed closest to the cab.
For a transfer tank tool box combo that fits underneath a tonneau cover, I also recommend the DeeZee Combo Auxiliary Transfer Tank item # DZ38AJ. This tool box measures 54" wide x 18" deep x 16" tall and has a 50-gallon capacity tank that is rated for diesel fuel. The cap is an additional 3" tall so the 19" height is perfect for sitting underneath a tonneau cover. The 18" of depth will give you room for positioning the tank so you can reach the cap.
The Pace Edwards UltraGroove Metal Retractable Hard Tonneau Cover item # 311-KRC8569 is going to be the best option for height clearance above your fuel tank, 5th wheel hitch, and the depth of the canister. It's going to sit 1" above your Silverado's bed rails. The cover can be opened in 1' intervals while you're towing your 5th wheel trailer. It's designed specifically for the dually models.
The top of your bed side rails are 21" tall from the base of your Silverado's bed. The B&W Companion item # BWRVK3500 has an adjustable height of 16-1/4" - 18-1/4" so you'll have plenty of clearance.
The highest point of the DeeZee Combo Auxiliary Transfer Tank item # DZ38AJ is the fuel filler and cap which is 19" tall from the base of the bed. It'll be close but you'll have just enough clearance with the Pace Edwards item # 311-KRC8569.

Thank you for all this information, it is so helpful. At this time, I don't have a 5th wheel but plan on getting one sometime in the future. Right now I am taking care of my mother full time, she had 9 strokes and is bedbound, and I am trying to slowly (money's tight) set my truck up for RV transport/hotshot to prepare myself to reenter the workforce after she passes. Again, thank you for all the info. It is way more than helpful and I am very grateful.
