Hi. I have a 17 gmc 3500 standard bed with the Bandw gooseneck. Will I have enough clearance going with the gen y executive gooseneck?

No, the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box item # GY38FR is not going to do anything to help with turning clearance. I do have a solution though. Since your 2017 GMC Sierra 3500 has the B&W item # BWGNRK1016 you can use the 4" Offset Ball item # BWGNXA4085 to get some extra turning clearance.
