Great support pre-purchase recommending correct pin lock. Threads fit my e-bile rack perfectly and no rattling when transporting 2 e-bikes.
Zero stars. Doesn’t work. Three reps told us this would work and it does not fit. Reported to etrailer and never got a return label. Very disappointed with etrailer.
I purchased the cargo carrier and did not realize it had a ferrule welded into the receiver so that the etrailer proprietary hitch pin lock would have to be ordered. Upon receiving the hitch pin I discovered the ferrule installed into the carrier was not threaded. I was told this was an error from the factory. Since I had installed the carrier and we'd had rain, there were some rust areas. I was told I could not return the carrier. I now have a carrier which I cannot lock and two locking hitch pins I cannot use. I've been a long-time etrailer customer and have recommended etrailer to others. I shall not order from etrailer in the future nor will I be recommending etrailer to others.

Good quality. Excellent response from etrailer staff regarding thread diameter. Did not award 5 stars because packaging indicated M16-1 however thread pitch is 2mm. I believe packaging should indicate M16-2.
I am using with Fultyme RV 1300 Hitch Mount 2-Bike Rack which does not have a locking hitch pin.
This anti-rattle locking pin works perfectly for my needs.

Like the trailer hitch lock, fits with the folding trailer carrier. I wish etrailer offered additional keys for the lock..... The keys come with a number on them but was told they don't offer spares/extras. If I lose the keys I guess I have a paperweight or need to cut the lock off my car if I was using it. If I could purchase additional keys it would be 5 stars.
The quality is excellent,but what separates them from everyone else,is the helpful knowledge I received in making the right choice for my needs.
this is exactly what I need for my 22x60 Flint Hill Goods Cargo Carrier for 2" Hitches!
The lock served it's purpose. I'm not sure the anti-rattle worked the way it was intended. The holes on my hitch were a bit small for the threaded portion.

I am sorry the anti-rattle did not work out better for you, this is the first time I am hearing about the hitch holes being too small for the threaded portion. What brand hitch do you have?
All is average. Doesn't fit snuggly. Not as good as E-Trailer anti-rattle Hitch Pin. And costs nearly as much to return as to buy a replacement. Who would have thought for something that doesn't perform as advertized?
I couldn’t install this hitch pin on my Audi Q7. There wasn’t enough clearance to tighten the screw(turning the key to thread the hitch pin) and I couldn’t get it to the point of pulling the key out(key can only be removed when fully threaded). The plug outlet for the lights was in the way.
This works as advertised and we also use it for our hitch mounted bike rack. No rattles, and we like the locking feature.
Ordered for my 500lbs etrailer.com aluminum rack. Fit like a glove. Thanks!

One year later and still working out well.
We are headed to Alaska in September and needed a trailer hitch receiver for our 2015 Forester so we could mount a full size tire to have in case we blew a tire. Husband very happy with the quality of the hitch receiver plus the spare tire lock, hitch alignment collar, anti -rattle hitch pin lock, wiring harness and the stabilizing strap. Fast service! Thank you!!!

This lock is intended to be used with etrailer branded cargo carriers. If you were using it with a bike rack then most bike racks have brand specific locks that need to be used.
Likes:
Getting multiple locks keyed to the same 1 key
Compact design that's fairly sturdy, fits & works
Reasonable price
Dislikes:
Sometimes it takes multiple tries and is a hassle to get the key unlocked
It took many weeks to have them find 3 locks keyed to the same key
Item will rust if left outdoors or in use for prolonged period of time
Quality locking pin! Arrived fast! Would definitely recommend!
Food for thought:
Should this be offered as a combo option with the actual hitch? I agree that it shouldn't be a mandatory package since some people already have a pin, but an option would be useful.

The only 2 in hitch lock I could find with an M16 threaded bolt & lock to fit a recently purchased EBike hitch rack. Works great!
