Hey Roger,

I believe the Threaded Anti-Rattle Hitch Pin Lock for etrailer Cargo Carriers # e99047 might be exactly what you need. It has an M16 x 2 thread pitch, is 5/8" in diameter, and has a 2-5/8" useable span. This anti-rattle hitch pin would thread into the shank of your cargo carrier and pull it against the inside edge of the receiver tube, eliminating the rattling.
