Rated for a 30,000 lb gross towing weight and 7,500 lb vertical load limit, this hitch is ready for serious work. The single-piece, machined ball socket forms a solid connection with your gooseneck trailer, keeping things stable when you’re moving heavy equipment or livestock. The powder-coated steel construction stands up to hard use and corrosion so it’s dependable season after season.
When the trailer’s unhitched, you can remove the 2-5/16" ball, flip it upside down, and drop it back into the hitch for storage. The Turnoverball system sits below the bed surface, so the bed stays clean and completely open when you’re hauling gear or materials. The square base design keeps the ball from rotating in the socket and helps keep grime from building up inside to make sure it’s ready to use next time.
The locking handle is easy to reach from inside the rear driver’s-side wheel well. A 5/8" thick, spring-loaded steel pin slides through the base of the ball to secure it in place. It gives you a simple way to lock or unlock the hitch without crawling into the bed. Built-in spring-loaded safety-chain hookups are right where you need them for a clean setup that’s easy to connect.
The custom mounting brackets bolt directly to existing holes in the truck’s frame, so there’s no welding or frame drilling required. You’ll just need to cut a single 4" diameter hole in the bed for the ball and drill smaller holes for the chain loops. The kit includes polypropylene tape strips that create a barrier between aluminum and steel surfaces to help prevent galvanic corrosion when installed on aluminum beds.
Because the body of your truck is constructed of aluminum, there is an increased risk of galvanic corrosion when a different metal, such as steel, contacts the truck body. To help prevent this corrosion, strips of polypropylene tape are included to provide a barrier between the steel of the hitch and the aluminum of the truck. These strips are to be applied to the center section of the gooseneck hitch as shown above.

Difficult to release the pin that holds the ball in the bed. You have to fiddle with it to get it to work.

Sorry to hear that, Tyson. Have you tried using some dry lubricant? I wouldn't use something wet as it will attract debris, which is likely to be what is causing it to bind up.
Product worked spectacularly on my truck. The flip over ball storage leaves my truck bed "rail free" so that I have it's full capacity when I need it. Super fast delivery from retailer. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.
I have installed several of the B and W hitches in my opinion thay are the best thay fit good and install easy, This one is going in a 2023 f150 to be mated to a 18ft gooseneck trailer
i helped my son-in-law put the hitch in my truck, it took us 3 1/2 hours to install it. the only problem was the 4in. hole in the bed wasn't quite big enough.
Relatively easy to install and works gr eat.
The hitch fit perfectly. It was easy to install, it took about an hour. The rod to remove the ball seems light at 1/4" dia. I was expecting it to be larger as every other part of the hitch is very heavy duty. I had B & W hitches in my previous pickups so I was confident it would work well for me.
Let me start off with I am not a mechanic. I believe this was an easy install. But It did take me about four hours to do by myself.
Very helpful. I would suggest calling customer service. They will review order and make sure you have what you need. Installation in 2017 or newer F150 short bed is a job but everything hooked up. With spray in liner I used 4 1/8 inch cutter worked well
Purchased this for my 2021 Ford F-150 Crew Cab PowerBoost. Installer reported no problems installing it. The PowerBoost has the 7.2 kW power package. No issues with the trailer hitch during or after installation. This is the 3rd turnover ball hitch I have had from B&W. Sometimes it is difficult to get the pin retracted to turn over the ball, but it does work. The issue is it is difficult to turn the mechanism enough to line up the vane with the slot that provides for pin retraction. I have had zero issues otherwise and recommend this device.

Working great with no issues other than difficulty retracting the pin to turn the ball over. It works, but is difficult.
This works as designed. Its been installed a year now and we pull our 30' fifth wheel camper with it. High quality product like all B&W equipment. Fairly easy to install into my extended cab 2018 F-150. Instructions were easy to follow and you can do it with basic tools and mechanical ability. Best price and service available through e-trailer.
Haven’t installed it yet, hopefully everything is there. Shipping looks like it went through hell. Almost as much tape as wet/ripped open cardboard. Installing this weekend, and will know more.
The hitch is great, the directions were easy to follow and was an easy install.

This product fits like a glove. Watch the video on installation and itll go pretty easy. My son and I installed it in one hour. He have used it numerous times and our F150 Ecoboost pulls a two horse slant with weekender trailer just fine.
This is my 3rd B&W Gooseneck Hitch. I think that they are as good as it gets. Sometimes I wish I could remember the installation from the previous one as the crossmember supports are hard to understand in the instructions and it is really helpful to look at the parts diagrams to understand how they are supposed to go together.
Great Product.
Item arrived in a reasonable time. It's extremely solid and well built, was truly bolt in (other than cutting a hole in the bed which is of course unavoidable), and the release mechanism is silky smooth so far. No regrets after installation and one pull.
Great hitch! I put this on my 2021 F-150 LB to tow our 10k lb fifth wheel and it worked exceptionally. I love how the ball can hide away to let you use the full bed for other things. Took about two hours to install, including cutting the holes and painting them. You'll want two people for this install. I paired this with an Anderson Ultimate Connection gooseneck hitch and Roadmaster Active Suspension system and my little 3.5l V6 1/2 ton towed this trailer with ease.

Ive had this hitch for a year and cant say enough good things about it. Its so simple to operate and has performed incredibly. Being able to hide the ball when not towing its so nice for loading the bed up without any obstructions in the way
