What is the actual weight of the BW77FR Gooseneck hitch and the 4 inch offset ball BWGNXA4085? Seems like these values should be easy to find on the product web site, but I was unable to do so. I want to understand implications to payload capacity when paired with the Andersen Ultimate Hitch. Still picking out a 5.5ft bed truck for a small 5500lb GVWR travel trailer with a dry pin weight of 650lb, likely 700-800 loaded. Separate question, but how reasonable is a ~1300lb payload capacity as with the F150 Powerboost for this type of rig?

Hey Kevin, thanks for reaching out. The B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BW77FR weighs approximately 85 lbs altogether. The 4" offset ball part # BWGNXA4085 weighs 18 lbs.
Honestly, I couldn't agree with you more that we should show the product weight on the page. We actually used to list the shipping weight for all our products, but the powers that be decided to do away with that for some reason. If you ever need to know the weight of something just let me know and I am happy to look that up for you.
As far as the payload capacity, it’s doable, but you’re right on the edge. With a 1,300 lb payload, an 800 lb tongue weight uses up most of what the truck can legally carry once you factor in passengers, the hitch hardware, and any cargo in the cab or bed. If the truck is lightly loaded, it can work, but there’s not much margin left so just be super mindful of your cargo weight.

Thanks for the reply. This plus the Anderson hitch eats another 140lbs. So, I'm changing engines and getting more payload - hoping to get more like 1600lb. I don't want to be constantly worrying about being over limit. I'd rather pay a bit more for gas - though since this will be mainly a tow vehicle it's about the same anyway.
