Question:

for the 5foot bed to drill the 4inch hole it calls out 42 5/8inch from the rear of the truck bed. I just want to be sure it is for the 5foot bed. Thank you

I spoke with my B&W representative who confirms that to install their GNRK1121 # BW77FR Turnover Ball hitch on a 2021 Ford F-150, the center of the 4 inch hole for the gooseneck ball would be placed 42-5/8 inches forward of the rear edge of the truck bed (NOT the tailgate). This distance is the same, regardless of the length of the truck bed. I've provided a diagram showing this dimension.

To install a 7-way connector in the truck bed so you don't need to run the trailer connector cable up over the tailgate, I'd recommend part # C57008.
