Heavy duty, awesome hitch. Very solid construction with very little "play" in the receiver. Pins are easily removed. I can now tow all three of my trailers with one mount. What took me so long? Shipping was fast and inexpensive. I've now bookmarked etrailer.com!
One of the best hitches around, very adjustable. If it had a drawback, it would be the 10k weight limit, we have some equipment heavier than that. Trailers with different tongue heights are easy to hook up.

Just received the B&W Tow & Stow 2 Ball Mount from etrailer.com. Bought it for it's ability to not only change ball sizes easily but to also configure it in the stow position while still mounted to the truck. This will allow me to continue parking my truck in the limited size garage without having to remove the ball mount. Additional note: etrailer was great in getting the order out the door and to our house in short order without shipping cost - a great benefit from other sites/companies.
We previously had an aluminum hitch and came to learn that over time these could actually just crack apart. So we invested in this all steel hitch (and it is heavy!) to avoid those complications and make trailering safer. The adjustability we had on both hitches helps us use them for multiple types of tow on multiple vehicles.

Very adjustable! Works great, the instructions call to put the included white lithium grease on the pins, which in turn is a mess every time you adjust the hitch, wear gloves. Don't drop it on you toe, it's heavy! Great hitch!
Best hitch I’ve ever purchased. However I cringe about leave on vehicle because there’s no way to secure ball from being stolen.
Ideal for pulling various trailers and stows away easily so you won't bump your leg.

Stow and tow 7 inch drop/7.5 inch rise hitch arrived last night. It is an excellent piece of gear and is very stout. I hooked it up to our 27' Charmac and it worked very well.
It is very easy to adjust the desired height. I wish that I'd gotten one years ago.
The spring I needed for a Bulldog Collar lock hitch came in the same shipment and was a cinch to install and it works like it did when it was new. It pops right open when the collar is moved back.
I have been extremely please with the customer service and attention to detail fro Etrailer.com and will continue to use them.
They also honored their low price guarantee when I recently purchased a gooseneck hitch.

I have trailers with 2” & 2 5/16” balls and this hitch makes changing very simple and fast - without having to hunt down the right size hitch. I’d buy another.
Excellent hitch setup. Strong, solid hitch weighing close to 27lbs. I don’t usually tow anything above 10,000lbs, so this works perfectly for me and my needs. The pins are easy to remove for adjustments and stowing the hitch away. My only concern would be how low this particular model hangs down. Depending on hills or steepness of driveways, there’s a chance it may touch the ground upon entering, but this hasn’t happened to me. Just a possibility is all, but with the quality of this hitch I would assume they thought of that. This will more than likely be my last hitch I ever buy.

Eliminates hauling different balls and drop hitches plus wrenches to swap them around , excellent for leveling your trailer (and must for tandem & triple torsion axles ) they didn't offer one with 2 1/2" shank so lots of slop with adapter
This was the second B&W hitch I purchased from etrailer and like the first, this second experience just confirmed etrailer is a solid company that provides an excellent product at a great price. Thank you etrailer for making life a bit simpler.

I use this hitch all the time and it still looks and performs as it should. Nothing but praise for etrailer and B&W hitches
seems to be well built, haven't used it yet. Thought I would be pulling a pontoon trailer, but it fell through and have never used the tow and stow ball mount.

Never used it. Sold it about a week ago
Purchased for a 2025 Chevrolet 2500. Went with the 7” drop this time so that it would fit a 1500 without dragging, I learned that from experience.
Shipping was quick! One cotter key was bent, but etrailer wouldn’t have known that and it still works, so not an issue. I can also replace it at any hardware store easily as well.
Our GOTO hitch for all our high profile trucks. We have several different B&W hitches.
Purchased this hitch 15-20 years ago... NEVER disappointed, never a failure. Bequeathed this older hitch (she didn't want a new one?) to my oldest daughter, she had always wanted this one for her truck. She said IT had been "TOW" tested to the extremes.
A NEW Ford F250 required a new hitch. THIS B&W is the one we use for our 7K GTW (Gross Trailer Weight), bumper-pull travel trailer. It has a 10k working limit, but a safety factor is built into this hitch. We have used this hitch with a 12k GTW (Gross Tongue Weight) on the farm, for a short tow (less than 10 miles) on many occasions, but it's NOT recommended!!!
One must be aware, when in the drop position the hitch can drag (again, NOT recommended!) on a low departing rise, but it can handle it (depending on your receiver). I have (slowly) backed into rocks that jarred the truck to a stop, but no issues with this B&W.
I normally rate my product reviews with 4 Stars to leave room for improvement. This B&W hitch gets 5 STARS!
Purchase ANY B&W hitch and you will NEVER Regret you did.

Nothing I can add to a one year review. The original comment leaves nothing out. Like others have said, a hitch lock is a necessary insurance investment!

Just received yesterday after very fast shipping. Installed on truck and this is a very solid hitch. Love the way it stows and the build is awesome. This should last a very long time, highly recommend B&W and etrailer.
Like everything else I have bought for my truck, I have to research the heck out of it first. I liked being able to watch a video about this product before I purchased it. This is a very nice ball mount. Nicely engineered and good quality. Works great.

hitch worked well for my small utility trailer behind my new full size truck.
Only possible down side is the ball I'm not using does sit somewhat low and could in certain circumstances hit a kerb or other bump. Haven't had that issue and think it's unlikely, but it is possible. Note I need the ball mounted on the lowest seting, 7" drop to work with this trailer on this truck
Great hitch easy to adjust for each trailer. The best part is never having to swap receivers for different ball sizes. Highly recommend this B W stow and tow. Using this hitch on my Expedition and LandCruiser. A standard hitch caused my 12 ft utility trailer to not ride level when towed behind either truck. Since my trucks have different ride heights, the B&W hitch allows me to get the perfect drop for each truck. Trailer responds much better to road issues level as opposed to angled behind the truck. Additionally, its rating exceeds both of the trucks’ towing capabilities, so I have the hitch I need for the future as I have plans for a heavier trailer down the road. Quality and fitment of the hitch is excellent.
Great price and fast shipping. However the hitch is very loose in the receiver. I’ve never had a hitch wobble like this one does. I guess I’ll have to order something to correct that.

It sounds like your ball mount might be a bit too small. If you measure the inside to inside of the hitch receiver, we can confirm the exact size you need. We do have part # BLU79XR, that would fit a 2.5 inch hitch, but I would like to double check and make sure that this ball mount will actually fit your application.

I have a 2.5 receiver on my 2015 F350 Super Duty. I do have the 2.5 to 2 adaptor to accept the 2 hitch, but I suspect the adaptor only amplifies the sloppy fit. I tried my old BW hitch with has a shorter and its just as loose, but I never noticed it as much because the is much shorter.

I have noticed in your picture that you actually have the 3 inch OEM hitch with the adapter sleeves that are provided when purchasing larger trucks. We do have some safe application options for you. We have a 3 inch ball mount with a 7 inch and 7.5 inch rise, part # BWTS30040B. This will prevent you from needing to use adapter sleeves at all. We also offer a hitch receiver immobilizer for 3 inch hitches, part # BLU85QR, as well.
I own 2 of these now. 1 double & 1 triple ball. For me these are great and have towed multiple trailers many miles with ZERO issues. Because I tow many different trailers with different sized couplers and even the load/tongue weight from load to load can change how much my truck squats since I do not have air bags on my truck yet (coming soon), the B&W Tow & Stow makes it so easy to adjust the height to level any of my trailers. Honestly I do not use the stow feature partly because I am lazy and tow often but also by leaving this massive chunk of metal sticking out, it may protect my truck from being bumped from a non driver.
Hint to B&W, for such a nice device I wish it came with a silencer to quiet some of the rattling although it is not bad.
Tip for new users: (1) Grease the pins from time to time to make adjusting the height or switching ball size super easy especially in northern states with snow and salt covered roads. (2) Use a locking pin to secure this to your truck. They are heavy but without a locking pin they are easy to "walk away".

We do have a set of specific locking pins designed for the B&W Tow and Stow, part # IR57FR that will lock the platform and hitch ball to the shank, to prevent theft.
