Very good hitch for both my F250 and My F450. It very nice that you can flip the ball to the underside of the bed to where you do not hit it with your leg while at the tailgate. So far I am very pleased after a year.
I had purchased a B&W hitch several years ago when I bought my 08' F450. In 13' I purchased an F350 and purchased another B&W hitch. When I went to the local marine store to purchase a hitch for the 16' F250, I was informed that they did not carry the hitch in their store anymore. The clerk there tried to sell me a different style ball hitch, but I knew I wanted a B&W swivel ball hitch. I turned to the Internet and found etrailer.com and ordered the hitch. A great hitch. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for some height adjustment as well as the piece of mind that it is one piece (ie, the hitch does not fall apart when you pull the pins). High quality build. Its been in and out of water (towing a boat) and no rust. Great job B&W.
Really happy with the adjustability on this sturdy hitch. I love how it tucks away. I bought some extra pins to throw in the glove box just in case. I paired this with a Bolt hitch lock.
Wish it didnt have so play in it, it allows the trailer hitch to bounce more than standard drawbar does

Keep the pins greased Wirth some white lube and this thing works great.
We bought this one year ago. Granted we live in Minnesota, with salt put down in the winter, but it was NOT suppose to rust and it was to with stand all elements. I have pictures of all the pins rusted, ball hitch starting to rust and we have to take a hammer and punch to get pins out. We haul fish houses and trailers all year long. I was hoping with your product we would not have to go through this again.
Purchased for 2011 Toyota Tundra crew max 4x4 all stock wheels and suspension. It’s the best match for my truck. I went with the 5” drop model initially, but after installing it I realized my error in never needing that big of a drop. When matched to my trailers I would never be lower than 2” and having that extra 3+” of shank length really creates the potential to snag it on a sloped drive or curb. Per BW guide, they suggest 11” clearance and I was at 9” and that was without any load on it. So just a word of advice to fellow Tundra owners, unless yours is lifted considerably.
So the 3” drop version, as well as the 5”, is manufactured beautifully. It looks great and it is a substantial piece of metal. Functional it is genius!
The pins for the ball mount have spring clip pins and that would be my only area I will likely change out to a locking system. Simply to avoid losing one of those clips.
I spoke with Sherry at e-trailer for my return and she was extremely helpful. As well, I talked with BW directly and they were equally as wonderful to speak to. I could not be happier with my purchase or the vendor or the manufacturer.
This is a versatile hitch. It could fit the receiver better…seems to be quite a bit of “slop”. I also wish it as a bit longer between the pin hole and the head. I run a Rock Tamer rock deflector and can’t install a clamp to tighten up the hitch to the receiver. I have installed the available B&W rubber gasket. It makes the hitch move less but due to its thickness, makes for difficult install and removal.
As with all B&W products, this hitch works flawlessly. Very well made!

Bulletproof hitch. Still looks like new after multiple uses. Stow feature is an outstanding feature. Highly recommend. Would definitely buy again.

This is a high quality item. There is no anti-rattle feature for this so if that’s an issue, do not choose it.
My second B&W stowaway that I have bought, have them on both of my business trucks, absolutely love them, I think they are the best money can buy, MADE IN USA! No more changing hitches, fully adjustable for different trailer heights, great product!

Open box looks very impressive, will install tomorrow. Did some measurements that were my concerns but the measurements are exactly what the specialist said the were. Look like a great product!!

The 3” drop is perfect for a stock 4x4 Silverado 1500. I can tow my small trailer as well as my full size tandem axle trailer without changing hitches/balls. Just what I wanted.

We recommend using an anti-rattle setup like the part # 63232 which tightens the ball mount shank to the hitch tube and really takes out the movement. It also doubles as a hitch lock as well.
