Question:

Since the ball bracket is held on by pins with clips, can’t someone just pull the clips and the pins and walk off with the ball?

Hey Hugh! That is correct, if someone wanted to pull the pins out and steal the ball platform on the B&W Tow & Stow 2-Ball Mount # BWTS10033B they could. If you want to secure the dual ball platform you will need to add the InfiniteRule Hitch Locks for B & W Tow and Stow # 34061775-D. This comes with locks that will replace those pins, along with a matching hitch pin, all keyed alike.
