Is It Possible To Set B&W Tow and Stow To 0 Rise

Question:

Can you set the BandW to 0 rise ? My receiver with a straight hitch sits right at 14in which is the low spec for my Futura trailer. I need to adjust from 0 to +2in from level which is the 14-16in spec’d by Futura. Is there an offset to the position closest to the hitch shaft ? Is there a diagram with the actual measurements of each position of the hitch in both the upright and downward positions as measured from the top of the hitch bar as used as the 1st measurement point when figuring ball hight ?

Yes, you can set the B&W Tow and Stow Ball Mount part # BWTS10033B to 0 rise if you align the adjustable portion of the ball mount with the shank in the drop position. There is not an offset in drop position it starts at 0 and the increments between holes are 1 inch.

It is about a 1/2 inch offset when it's aligned with the shank in the rise position. I recommend putting the ball mount in the rise position and adjusting it 2 holes up to give you the 2 inch rise you need. The extra 1/2 inch will not make that much of a difference because the weight of your trailer will bog it down a bit.
