Note: To avoid the Tow & Stow hitting steep driveways or curbs, we recommend at least 11" of clearance between the ground and the lowest point of the drop hitch, as seen above.
The B&W Tow & Stow adjustable ball mount lets you tow a variety of trailers with different tongue heights. Having a 1-7/8" ball, a 2" ball and a 2-5/16" ball allows for even more versatility, making this the ultimate go-to ball mount if you own multiple trailers.
Easily Adjusts and Stows
To switch the hitch ball, simply remove the pin holding the balls in place and rotate the entire block that the balls are mounted on until the ball you want to use is on top. Then replace the pin to secure the block in place.
Adjusting the height of the ball is just as easy. Remove the pins holding the ball mount platform in place and slide the platform up or down along the shank to the desired position. Once you have found the correct height, reinsert the pins and replace the clips.
When you're not towing, you can flip the ball mount platform around and stow it beneath your hitch so that you won't bang your shins. Just remove the pins to slide the ball platform down along the channel and up the back side so that the hitch balls face towards your vehicle. Then replace the pins.
Built-In Anti-Theft System
The Tow & Stow ball mount features a channel that runs along both sides of the shank. This channel not only allows you to slide the ball mount platform up and down to adjust the ball height, but it also prevents removal of the platform when the ball mount is installed, which will help prevent theft of your trailer.
A slot is cut into the adjustment channel near the top of the shank. To remove the ball mount platform from the shank you will need to remove the entire ball mount from your hitch. Then remove the pins that hold the platform in place. Flip the platform around to the stowed position on the rear of the shank, and then slide it up until the center pin lines up with the slot in the shank. Pull the platform out towards the rear of the shank until the pin pops out of the adjustment channel.
When the Tow & Stow is secured in your hitch receiver, you will not be able to remove the ball mount platform. This is because the slot in the shank is positioned in such a way that the collar on your hitch will block the pin on the platform from being able to leave the channel. Even if the pins holding the ball mount platform in place are removed, the platform will still be confined to this channel. So, as long as a hitch lock is used to secure the entire ball mount in your hitch receiver, and a coupler lock is used to prevent your trailer's coupler from being disengaged from the ball, your trailer will be secure.

I like that it stows under the truck and i'm not banging my leg and getting grease on myself. The only draw back was i wanted to use my anti slap bracket and it would not fit due to the insert butts up to the hitch receiver. I'm not experiencing any slapping when taking off or stopping at this time.I use this for my boat and a utility trailer and i don't have to change hitch insert which is really nice, one less thing to do.

The hitch is solid and works as you'd expect it to work. I wish that they had used stainless steel clips for the pins. They rusted easily and I had to replace them with stainless. I keep the moving parts coated in fluid film thanks to the rustbelt of Ohio.

New buy but they seem to be well built. I like that the lock screws into the pin as opposed to the assembly that latches on (I’ve seen video where those can be forced off).

After one year with this BW hitch, I am even more impressed. It meets all my towing needs. You do have to keep the pins lubricated, but other than that no issues. Go ahead and invest in the locking pin so you can just keep it on your truck year round.

Perfect over all! I have had no problems so far. If you are looking at improving the product, the sleeve needs to be a bit thicker to fit tighter in the truck hitch.

I purchased the B&W from George at etrailer.com and after much research online I found the best deal. The shipping was super fast, and the product is absolutely top of the line. I have used this receiver a couple dozen times over the past year and I am impressed more and more every time I use it. From pulling a small 10' utility trailer to a 31' Center Console, this receiver makes it happen! Only downsize is I should have just gotten the 2 ball and not the Tri. I do not own anything that is 1 7/8" however if I ever need it I have it along with the 2" and 2 5/16".

I have owned this hitch for a little over 1 year now. It has never left my receiver on my F150. It has survived the IL winter without any rust forming or issues with the pins jamming. I do keep the pins well greased as well as a light coat on the tri-ball at all times. The adjustability is good for my applications and fits my 3 trailers great. I have little to no rattle from the hitch itself going down the road. Buy once, cry once when it comes to this hitch. You will not be disappointed.
*One disclaimer, on this 3" drop, if you have an 2020 F150 like I do, you cannot rotate the ball when stowing to where the 1 7/8" ball isn't pointing towards the ground. There isn't enough space, even at the lowest setting, to get it to tuck up and not touch the frame. If ground clearance is an issue, I suggest going to a 5" drop to tuck the ball up.*

I bought this because I got tired of having to change hitches for my 3 trailers with 2 different size couplers. This hitch system appears to be very well made. It's got some weight to it and is very solid. Adjusting the height and ball size are both simple processes. Would highly recommend this.

Have not has any issues with this tow hitch. I have owned it for over a year and tow a concession trailer approx. 14 to 18 times a year. I would recommend this hitch to anyone looking for a great product that will stand up to the test of work & time. Also the height is adjustable so it makes it easy to raise an lower depending on what you are towing and if you scrap coming out of your driveway you can adjust it up to clear that as well.

There is however a version of this ball mount which comes with a pintle hook but you can't add just that part to an existing ball mount. Its working fantastically. So easy to have a one size fits all hitch. I do keep it lubricated just a bit on the pins. But thats because I keep it on the truck year round.
