Great Product!I installed this hitch myself on my Volvo XC90. Instructions were very straight forward and I had minimal problems with the installation. Only issue was getting it under the plastic bumber and above the exhaust. Overall process took about an hour and 15 min. The Hidden Hitch looks great on the Volvo as there is very little of it to see. I highly recommend it for any XC90 owners!
The store is excellent, very fast processing and shipping, great instructional videos! The Hidden Hitch for the Volvo XC90 is also excellent, very easy to install! I installed the hitch by myself, no help at all, even while I'm cooking roast chicken, it just took me exactly 40 minutes as I was timing the chicken. Just follow the instructional video on the website, I didn't even need to raise the car up, there's enough space to work underneath the car. Beautiful clean profile flush to the car bumper.
Hidden hitch trailer hitch on 2009 Volvo XC90 - this hitch fit perfectly! The instructions were extremely helpful and installation took me less than 30 minutes on my back. I even managed to install the hitch without lowering the spare. I know some hitches require cutting a bit of the undercarriage cover, but this one did not. Highly recommended hitch!
I was first attracted to the etrailer website because it had video installation guides (okay...the free shipping on orders over $150 was a draw also). I ordered the hidden hitch for my 2007 Vovlo XC90, along with the trailer wiring kit. I got a rosponse from the etrailer team that same day that they were going to try and ship it to my house faster. I received the product and watched the installation videos a few times before tackling the project. I couldn't believe how slick it was. The installation went without a hitch (excuse the pun). The wiring kit was amazing also. The only note-worthy comment would be to do a close up of how the connectors are attached to the frame of the car, so they could be easily pulled off. I was very exited as I tracked the USPS 3 day shipping journey. The day of the schedule delivery, I went ahead and removed the spare tire; loosen all of the bolts; used my Volvo jack to hold the exhaust; removed the two rubber bushing holding the exhaust. At 5:04 pm, the package was delivered; all items ordered were there. My friend and I installed the trailer hitch in 10 minutes. The hitch bolt holes were perfectly alligned with the existing holes in the frame. The 87810 flawlessly fit to my SUV w/o any alterations to my bumper. I commend Etrailer for selling such a great looking hidden hitch such as this one - the bar is hidden behind and above the rear bumper. I apologize for my phone camera - its an injustice to how the hitch actually look:)

VERY easy to install. I used an ATV jack to hold it in place (prior to securing bolts) and it only took an hour to install. Looks much cleaner than Volvo OEM and NO bumper cutting!
