Is Tinned Wiring Used In Trailer Wiring Kits

Question:
I do not see any of your trailer wire kits that say they specifically used tinned wire. They say tinned connectors. I want tinned wire. What do you have?

The trailer wiring we offer like part # A40W5B, is designed to be used as a 5-wire harness, and works well with a trailer that has a surge coupler. The wires used in this harness are 16 gauge except the blue brake wire which is 18 gauge, and designed to be able to safely handle the current from a 12 volt system. The wires in this harness are not tinned.
From my research I found that tinned wire is normally used in industrial wiring and used when the operating temperature of the wire is consistently over 100 degrees Celsius. It also makes soldering much easier because of the tin wrapped around the copper wire.
We do offer select lights that feature tinned connectors, but at this time we do not offer any wiring harnesses or kits that feature tinned copper.
