Will Extend-A-Goose Gooseneck Coupler Work In Recessed Opening In Truck Bed

Question:

I have flat bed on my truck and it has a recessed ball below bed level down in a box that has a cover that cover ball and makes bed flat. Will this coupler clear the box. The box is around 12 to 14 inch square Thanks, John

The B&W Extend-A-Goose Gooseneck Coupler, part # BWTEXA4200 you referenced is designed to be able to attach to the inner tube on a gooseneck trailer and provide an additional 10 inches of clearance from your truck cab for your trailer.

This adapter will fit a standard 4 inch diameter outer tube on the gooseneck, and has a weight capacity of 24,000 lbs. It is designed to fit a standard 2-5/16 inch ball.
