I've attached a picture with three different measurements for the B&W Extend-A-Goose Gooseneck Coupler - 2-5/16" Ball - 10" Offset, # BWTEXA4200. It is 12 inches from the base or bottom of the coupler to the center of the lowest pin hole that connects your gooseneck trailer to this Extend-A-Goose. From the base to the bottom of the second weld, the measurement is 5-7/8 inches. From the base to the top of that same weld, the measurement is 8-5/8 inches. I've tried to color code to simplify in the attached graphic.
