Question:
I have installed your Curt hitch #c11158. I love the product. Now I want to take my toys two seadoos on a tandem trailer on a trip to Florida. The product is rated at 2000 lbs and 200 tongue weight. My seadoos and trailer are around 1223 lbs with the minimum of 120 lbs tongue. Do you have any advice?

My advice would be to bring sunscreen and have a good time! Based on the weight of your trailer and Seadoos you should be fine to use the Curt Hitch part # C11158 on your 2012 Ford Focus to make the trip.
You will need a few other components if you don't have them already. You will need trailer wiring for your vehicle, for that I would recommend the part # C56140 if you have a hatchback or part # C56138 if you have a sedan.
For a ball mount you would want the part # 3593, for a hitch ball part # 19256 if you need a 1-7/8 inch ball, or part # 19258 if you need a 2 inch ball.
However, before you do anything, you will need to check your owners manual to determine if there are any restrictions on towing with your vehicle. Some Ford Focus cars are not rated to tow a trailer at all.
