Updated 10/26/2026 | Published 10/20/2026

Question:

Hello, How thick is the rubber on this StableLoad® - Upper Overload? The max thickness from the back mount surface to the contact surface to the leaf spring when engage of course?

Thanks for letting us help Pete. The rubber block on the TorkLift StableLoad # TLA7200 measures 2-1/4" thick. This measurement is taken from the bottom of the rubber block where it contacts the overload spring to the underside of the plate that supports the anti rocking plate. I've included a graphic below showing exactly where this measurement is taken.

I believe this is the dimension you're looking for, but if you need a different measurement, just let me know.

Are you looking to add these to improve rear end sag while towing?

The total dimension from the upper overload spring stop where the mounting block mounts is 2-3/4in including the 2-1/4in rubber block and the 1/2in mount bracket. It is in contact constantly with the lower spring package when the camper(4-Wheel pop-up) is on the truck-which is always. We also use Firestone air bag to help level the truck when we pull the SxS trailer. This was a really easy fix to use the overload spring before the truck sagged the 2or so inches for the spring to become useful. I was considering an additional leaf spring in the main spring package but the block seems to have cured the level/sag issues I was concerned with.

This is my second F350 SRW with TorqLift StableLoad. My first F350 had a Cirrus 820 truck camper and this new F350 has an Arctic Fox 865 which is much heavier. I find the StableLoads to be more than adequate for the 12,000 load when fully loaded. I like the natural spring deflection ride it gives when loaded and the factory ride when unloaded. I have tried Timbren load booster but found they cause more of a bouncing/porposing effect when traveling on concrete highways you find in the Midwest. If I upgrade again TorqLift StableLoads will be the number one suspension upgrade I make.
