Can Upper Stableloads be Trimmed if they are Always Engaged
Updated 01/22/2018 | Published 01/21/2018 >
Question:
I have the Stableloads both upper and lower installed on a 2008 F250. Even when the bed is empty the upper stableloads are engaged resulting in an extremely rough ride when empty. I seem to recall that the upper pads can be trimmed. Is that the case and if yes how much and how best to trim them?

You are going to want to trim the block down about an inch. We have seen this issue before on similar GMC trucks and if you don't trim the block down the suspension is going to feel incredibly rough. If you trim about an inch off and match the angle of the block to the spring it will work like it is supposed to
