What Air Bags Fit a 2020 Ram 3500 4x4 w/o Factory Air System with a 2" Lift?

Updated 10/19/2026 | Published 10/15/2026

Question:

Good evening, I have a 2020 Ram 3500 4x4 SRW. Non factory air system. It has a 2 inch leveling kit and I use it for work daily hauling dump trailers and roll off trailer averaging 3-7 ton of material. What would be my best option for an all in one system with wireless control? Thanks in advance and a God bless. Do you offer veteran discounts? Semper Fidelis

Hey Brennan,

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Bag Kit part # F47XV is a great kit, but since you're planning on using these air bags daily with anywhere from 3 to 7 tons of weight, I'd suggest a heavier duty air bag. If you prefer to stick with Firestone air bags, I suggest using the Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Bags part # F2710 that are rated for 7,500lbs. However, there isn't a total kit that comes with the compressor available so the compressor will need to be purchased separately. The Firestone on Board Heavy Duty Air Compressor part # F96VV will provide enough psi for the higher rated air bags and frequent use and has the same wireless remote and smartphone capabilities as the one with the F47XV kit you were looking at. Because your truck has a 2" lift you'll also need spacers to go with the air bags so they're not over extended. The correct spacers are the Firestone Lift Spacers for Ride-Rite Air Bags part # F2366.

In regard to discounts, we don't have a veteran discount at this time, but we do have free shipping over $99.

What kind of work do you do that requires you to haul super heavy weight like that?

@Brennan Ah, that makes sense. I know tearing off old roofs can result in a lot of heavy debris.
