Replacement Kitchen Slide Seal For A 2017 Jayco Jay Flight

Question:
Looking for a replacement seal for a 2017 Jayco jay flight TSBH 33 This would be for the kitchen slide out on the sides. As you could see in the one picture it’s starting to peel off so it looks like two separate pieces for the bulb part the sweeper seal is starting to get cracks. Looks like it has some type of double-sided tape on the backside measured 2 inches wide with the tape strip. Would this be the right part for the replacement? Also, there is a screw through the rubber on the top part. Do you know if this was OK to remove and put back in?

It sounds like the Lippert Flat Wiper Seal for RV Slide-Outs - 1-1/4" - Sold Per Inch # LC25ED is the perfect part for your 2017 Jayco Jay Flight! Including the section with the tape on it, this will measure 2" wide (see included image) and looks to be the exact same thing as what you currently have on there (or at least, very very close).
I am not sure what that screw is for though. As long as nothing fell out/off when you removed it, I don't think you did anything bad. However, I would make sure to put it back in the same place when you are done with the install, just in case.
Are you doing some general upkeep on your Jayco, or is this seal the main project you're working on?
