Hey John! Thanks for getting that information from Load Rite! That helps a lot. We have an option with separate hubs and slip-on rotors like you were looking for, and it won't cost nearly as much as the stainless steel setup.
I recommend the Kodiak Disc Brake Kit # K2R526D along with two Dexter Idler Hubs # 8-213-5UC1-EZ. The Kodiak kit includes two 12" Dacromet-coated rotors, calipers, and mounting brackets. With the separate hubs, you'll be able to replace just the rotors when needed.
The Dexter hubs include bearings and 2.125" ID grease seals. If your existing axle uses 2.250" seals instead, you can swap them out for # RG06-070. This will give you a complete disc brake setup with separate hubs and rotors, making future maintenance a lot easier.
For the best corrosion resistance, you can upgrade to the Kodiak Stainless Steel Disc Brake Kit # K2R526S and Stainless Steel Idler Hubs # KH42655S instead.

Hi Robin, I want to thank you for all your assistance! I placed an order for the brake kit, hubs, mounting bolt, cotter pins and the 2.250" seals. Good call on the larger seals since while I was doing some more research found out that my axle does have the larger seals. For anyone following along and may find this info handy the axle I have per Load Rite is 6227.55ALB12-AXLE ASY, 5.5K, 74"SC, TOR 12" DSB, 6B. Excellent service from you and the order placement department. Appreciate the automated responses via email with order confirmations. My Best, John K.
