Would Lift Kit for 2006 Jayco Pop Up Allow for Off Road Tires

Question:
Hi I have a 2006 Jayco popup 12HW with a Dexter torkflex axle 10, if i install the 2 5/8 lift kit can I run a 15x6 wheel and what would be the biggest offroad tire you offer for this set up? Thanks

Hey JP, with the Torflex lift kit part # K71-707-01 you would give your Jayco a lift of 2-5/8 inches but that's not enough information for me to know if that would allow you to run a larger wheel and tire. I would need to know what size tire you have now, what the clearance is from the top of the tire to the current fender and the distance from the inner tire sidewall to the trailer frame/axle so that we can see how much bigger you could go and if there's an offroad tire that would fit. I would also need to know your wheel bolt pattern as well.
You want at least 3 inches of tire to fender clearance and 1 inch between the tire sidewall and the frame.

I put 15 inch wheels on my geopro. Did not go wide but had no clearance. Heated streached plastic inner fender so it wouldn't touch

Works well. The lift kit was installed with minor modifications on an Aluma 7712 trailer. This allowed 235/75R15 109T tires to fit with fairly tight clearances, but the suspension is very stiff and the trailer has not been overloaded so no problems so far.

I put this on my 2018 Rockwood HW277 with the Kenda Load Star 235/75R15. No issues or concerns. Easy install.

Thanks for responding I have appx 4” to top of fender, 3.5” to side of frame, current tire F78-14, wheels is 5x4.5”
