This Provider ST205/75R15 radial tire and wheel assembly is built for serious mileage. The Vesper 15" modular steel wheel has a white acrylic enamel finish that holds up against chips and road debris better than powder coat finishes. 1. Count the lug holes
Look at the wheel hub or the back of the wheel and count how many lug holes there are(also called bolt holes).
Common configurations include: 4-lug, 5-lug, 6-lug and 8 lug
2a. For even lug counts (4-lug, 6-lug, 8-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole directly across to the center of the hole opposite it.
Common configurations: 4 on 4", 6 on 5.5", 8 on 6.5"
2b. For odd lug counts (5-lug)
Measure from the center of one lug hole to the outer edge of the hole directly across (not center-to-center since there's no directly opposite hole).
Common configurations: 5 on 4.5" (most popular), 5 on 5", 5 on 4.75", 5 on 5.5"

Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today we're gonna take a look at this Provider ST205/75R15 Load Range C Radial Trailer Tire with 15" Vesper White Mod Wheel with a 5 on 5 inch bolt pattern. Now this tire and wheel assembly is great for stock trailers, utility trailers, and campers and this special trailer tire or ST tire has sturdy sidewalls so that it can handle heavy loads and it is created specifically for trailers and it's not intended for use on other vehicles. Now this assembly features the tire match mounted and balanced to the wheel for ride comfort and durability. The match mounting of tires and wheels is a process in which the tire installation position on the wheel is specifically selected to help minimize the final force of imbalance. The method of match mounting involves aligning the tire's lightest spot with the wheel's heaviest spot to eliminate most of the radial force that can cause tire and suspension wear. Then a final balance is done by applying weights as you can see here to specific spots on the wheel to eliminate any chance of uneven wear or vibration.
This radial tire is constructed with double steel belts and double polyester cords for a long life. Radial ply tires are designed for trailers that are towed on the highway. The nylon tread firming belt overlays help prevent tread separation and this tire is bake tested to ensure that the rubber holds up over time. The automotive grave tread has sipes that channel water away from the tire to improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions. Now, as I mentioned at the beginning of our time together and as we have stamped on our tire here, this is an ST205/75R15.
The section width is 7.99" and the outer diameter, when fully inflated is 27.13". This is a load range C tire, meaning it has a six ply rating and the maximum load is 1,820 pounds at 50 psi. This tire has a speed rating of M, indicating a maximum speed of 81 miles per hour. And this Vesper steel wheel with this modular design and that modular design describes these circles here that are in this wheel, this is sturdy and corrosion resistant. A white acrylic enamel finish is going to resist the chipping and other damage better than your powder coat finishes.
This finish is applied after a zinc phosphate pre-treatment and it covers an e-coat primer layer so it has excellent corrosion resistance with a salt spray rating of more than 1000 hours. The stud holes on this steel wheel are beveled to ensure that the wheel stays tight against your trailer hub. This also eliminates the need to constantly retorque the lug nuts. The rim dimensions from bead seat to bead seat, the diameter is 15" and the width of this rim is 5". And as you see, this does have a bolt pattern of 5 on 5 inches.
In case you don't know, that first number in the bolt pattern is the number of bolt holes and then the second number is the diameter in inches of the circle on which these bolt holes sit. So to determine the bolt circle diameter on wheels with an odd number of bolt holes as we have here, you'd simply measure from the center of any bolt hole to the point halfway between the two bolt holes directly across from the first. Now the wheel capacity is 2,160 pounds. The wheel stud size is 1/2" by 20. A center cap is sold separately, but if you pick one up, you would just have to make sure that it fits the pilot diameter of 3.19". This tire and wheel assembly does meet the Department of Transportation specifications. The tire exceeds the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard Specifications, and this assembly does feature a two year platinum warranty that includes emergency tire change service and other benefits. Bought it for a Spare tire. Tire was made Oct.2024 and I got the wheel/tire May 2026. No worries….. it’s a spare tire.
Tires came as promised. I have not installed them as of yet, but i really like the look. They should look great on my restored 1994 Starcraft popup. Can't wait to get it on the road again. Hopefully the end of July.

Light, sturdy feeling, perfect pressure straight out of the box. Honestly this was my first time ordering any kind of tire online so i was a bit paranoid. But the vehicle selector narrowed down the search to this beauty. Fits like a glove on my old 2005 jayco jay series. while its too early for me to rate its longevity, i find the product feel reassuring.
On the first trip with these tires and wheels, All wheel weights broke off. Will have to have these balanced again. Tires and wheels are as expected
When the tires arrived, the hubs had a few stretches on them which I assume it from mounting the tires. I installed them and drove around the block. Even though it was a short drive, they seemed to be a much better upgrade than the bias ply tires I had on the trailer.
I also should add that I bought these because of the highway rating as I will be hauling my motorcycle to NY this summer.
UPS driver put the tire box at my back gate and was very kind to do so. I’ve ordered 5 new tire/rims for an Alaska trip and and a spare for my cargo trailer in the past. This tire will be a spare on my new trailer.
The 2 Provider Tires on Vespar rims are in excellent condition, mounted good and look in excellent condition.

Excellent looking wheels and tires! The wheels are flawless - no scratches or chips.
I put these on a small utility trailer that I expanded for hauling my kayak and jon boat. The gross weight is very light so I reduced my tire pressure to about 75psi and took the trailer for its maiden test drive this past weekend. Handles great in town. It did 75-80mph on the highway no problem.

I bought this as a spare tire and wheel for my utility trailer. Haven’t had to use it yet. But I know it fits and its still holding air.
