Hello, Looking for electric a-frame jack recommendations for a 2401rg winnebago tt with weight distribution. Is a 3500 rated jack sufficient? Thank you.

Hi Mel!
A 3,500 pound trailer jack will definitely be sufficient for your Winnebago Minnie 2401RG as it has a GVWR of 7,000 pounds and a maximum loaded tongue weight rating of 650 pounds (at least that I could find, so check your sticker to double check that).
With that said, the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 18" Lift - 3,500 lbs # e23ZV will be a fantastic option that will get the job done! It is a hardwired option, but that's not a difficult job if you are replacing an existing electric jack. If you currently have a hand-crank option, I highly recommend grabbing the # e99011 junction box (if you don't already have one) as this will make the install a lot easier. The posts are color coded and it even includes ring terminals to help get everything nice and secure.
If you didn't want to hardwire the jack into your Winnebago, you could also use the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack w/ 7-Way - Drop Leg - A-Frame - 18" Lift - 3,500 lbs # e72QV. This plugs into the 7-Way on your vehicle and makes the whole process easier. However, the # e72QV has had some issues with how newer Ford and GM trucks (2020 and up) sense and send power, so if you have one of those, go with the hardwired option. It will end up working better for you.

We've had this unit for about 4 years now. Such a great upgrade. Hooks right up to the battery on our Jayco X17a and makes trailer leveling and connection to the vehicle a breeze. My wife and I are our mid 50's and the days of getting down on our knees and hand cranking are thankfully over. Have not had any issues and works great for our unit.

We have had ours for about a year and have had no complaints, it is a lot easier than hands cranking.

So far working great. Haven’t used it like some people that use there trailer every weekend. But I’m happy. Not getting any younger, so I’m happy.

It will work however, it’s not very quick at raising or lowering. I use blocks under mine to reduce amount of travel for faster leveling ability.
