Anti-Rattle Adapter Recommendation For Curt Hitch When Using Adapter

Question:

I installed the adaptor into a Curtis hitch and it is loose enough to rattle when I go over bumps. Is there a way to tighten loose fits?

The anti-rattle adapter I recommend is the No-Rattle Trailer Hitch Wedge, part # MPG908. This will work for 1-1/4 inch and 2 inch receivers and is designed to insert into the small gap that may exist on your receiver. You then tighten it up after it has been installed on the hitch pin as the attached photo shows. This should reduce the rattle and movement you have been having.
