I have a customer that is looking for an electric trailer Jack with the 7 way plug in. The head might need to be rotated so he can his tailgate. Thanks

Welcome back Stacy! To add an electric trailer jack that's powered off of the tow vehicles 7-Way, I recommend our etrailer item # e22QV for a 3,500 lbs capacity or item # e82QV with a 5,000 lbs capacity. These jacks fit a standard a-frame bolt pattern and will connect directly to a 7-way for power.

Our etrailer electric jacks item # e22QV for a 3,500 lbs capacity or item # e82QV with a 5,000 lbs capacity offer a 18" lift plus a drop leg that extends up to an additional 9-3/4". The very top of the head of these jacks is 20" above the mounting point on your trailer's tongue. The jacks can easily be rotated to accommodate clearance for a tailgate.

These jacks also include a 1-3/4" tall SnapPad which is a rubber jack pad that permanently attaches to the bottom of the jack foot. The SnapPad is going to do a great job of protecting the jack foot and providing a stabile base on different types of ground.

I saw you were looking at the etrailer Electric Trailer Jack w/ Tongue Weight Scale item # e83KV. This is also a 5,000 lbs capacity jack that can be powered by a 7-way. It comes with our new tongue weight scale that is accurate within 50 lbs and is great for adjusting how you load your trailer. We also have it in a 3,500 lbs capacity item # e28KV.

It all depends on where it mounts on the tongue. It will rotate fine, but mine attaches too far forward on the tongue to allow the camper door to open all the way. I have a 10 foot camper with the tailgate removed so I can't be specific about your question

@Scott Thanks for responding Scott. Yeah I can definitely see how your truck camper would have some clearance issues with your trailer's jack no matter what direction it was facing.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
