Can Furrion RV Refrigerator w Freezer Replace Dometic RM2852 RV Refrigerator

Question:
The old Dometic RM2852 in our travel trailer finally gave up and I'm thinking about switching over to a 12V refrigerator instead of putting another propane fridge in. Will the Furrion FR55TF fit in the same general space?

Hey Kevin! Yes, the Furrion RV Refrigerator w Freezer # FR55TF will work as a replacement for your old Dometic RM2852. The Furrion measures 59-5/8" tall x 23-3/8" wide x 25-3/4" deep, while the RM2852 measures approximately 60-51/64" tall x 24-7/8" wide x 26-1/32" deep.
That makes the Furrion slightly smaller in every direction, so you will have room to work with rather than trying to squeeze a larger refrigerator into the opening.
