Can The Dometic 420 RV Toilet DMC67JF Be Installed With 12" Rough In?

Question:
My actual toilet is 12 inches rough in. I understand that this one is 7-5/8 rough in. Would the pipes work? Is the toilet moved forward or is it just the space between the toilet and the wall thats bigger?

Hi Tina!
Having a 12" rough in isn't unheard of, but it is fairly rare in the camper world. Typically that would be found in residential style toilets. That said, you are still perfectly fine.
The Dometic 420 RV Toilet - Standard Height - Elongated Bowl - White Porcelain # DMC67JF has a minimum rough in of 7-5/8", but it doesn't necessarily have a maximum. As long as all your hoses/pipes are long enough to make the connections, you are good to go! You will just end up having more space behind the toilet, which actually makes cleaning easier in my opinion.
