Replacement Step Motor and Gear Box LCI 676062 For Kwikee Steps On New Motorhome

Question:

I have a new motorhome with Kwikee steps. Everything works but wish to buy “spare parts” but have a hard time finding new parts. I am looking for new motor AMP110-1037, 214-1009 motor, LCI p/n 676062. Only finding 676061

We do have the Lippert 676062 # LC62FR. This includes the motor and gear box with the link assembly A. If you can provide me with the sticker showing what series steps you have I can verify the correct control unit as well so you that as well.

Thanks Bud. I can see that I would need to buy the entire assembly from you when I was initially looking for a motor only. I assume the motor would tend to fail first. I’m sure in a year or so, Etrailer will be selling the motor as a separate part.

@RogerK Sorry, I thought you were looking for both as you mentioned the item number 676062 # LC62FR. If you only want the motor that is the Lippert part number 676061 # LC75JX.

@BudM My motor specifically says it is P/N 676062, not 676061. Are you saying the two part numbers are identical in every way? Usually a manufacturer won’t break out a new part number unless something changed or was revised.

@RogerK That is correct. The only difference is the tag on the motor. The 676062 is the part number for the motor and gear box while the 676061 is for just the motor. Since you mentioned wanting to have spare parts for the step the 676062 would be the better option to get as if the motor goes out you simply replace the motor only and then you can order a replacement for just the motor so you still have both a motor and gear box.
