MORryde GooseTech Pin Box for 2019 Heartland Cyclone 4007

Updated 08/13/2026 | Published 08/07/2026

Question:

Will this fit properly on a 2019 Heartland Cyclone 4007? It has the 1621 pin box. Currently has MORyde fifth wheel pin box. Towed great with my Andersen Ultimate, but want true gooseneck to keep the bed space and save my back.

Hey Mike!

Yes, since you confirmed that you have the 1621 pin box, the MORryde GooseTech 5th Wheel to Gooseneck Pin Box # MR47MV will be a direct replacement gooseneck for the fifth wheel pin box on your 2019 Heartland Cyclone 4007 toy hauler. It's going to definitely clear up your truck's bed and allow you a simpler setup, so you really will enjoy this hitch. We've installed them here on our campus and I can say after hands on experience, you'll be hard-pressed to find a better pin box.

Are you upgrading in preparation for any upcoming trips? What kind of truck are you towing the Cyclone with?

I installed the 1621 GooseTech MORryde 3 months ago on a 2020 Solitude 375RES 40 ft trailer. I had the typical MORryde pinbox fifth wheel and decided to switch over to gooseneck. Wish I would had done it a few years earlier. Love not having the 5th wheel hitch in the truck bed and towing with the GooseTech is alot better. Two person job for the change out and plan accordingly. Had mine installed in about 1 hr using proper tools and assistance.

@Gary It really is a solid system! Did you have to get a gooseneck ball as well or did you have a gooseneck and fifth wheel combo already?

@Gary Nice! Glad to hear that's working out. Are you full-time or just camping as you're able?

@JimmyM That's awesome. Did you install it yourself or through a shop? Have you taken it on any trips?

I installed this on my 2022 Grand Design Momentum 397TH, replacing a gooseneck hitch from Popup Towing Products by Young's Welding. The previous hitch was a quality product, but it provided more vertical cushioning than horizontal movement. Since I tow with a Freightliner FL60 equipped with air ride suspension, my primary need was horizontal cushioning, and this hitch appeared to be a better fit for my application. The improvement was noticeable immediately. I could feel the difference as I pulled out of my driveway and again at the first stop sign, with smoother starts and less chucking compared to my previous setup.

@JimF I'm glad the MorRyde took care of you on your trip! Where did you end up taking it?
