Replacement Key Fob For Retrax Tonneau Cover

Question:
I have a powered retrax cover on my F250. My daughters thought it would be a god idea to put my keys in the trash. Needless to say my remote was on said lanyard. Serial number is 17090114422005. Do you have a replacement key fob that will work with this model? Thank you

Hi Kyle!
The part you are looking for is the F09-2029 replacement fob, but Retrax discontinued it earlier this year. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like anyone online has them either, but you could still find one somewhere out there.
The only way we can get you a replacement would be to get the Replacement Remote Receiver for Retrax Powered Retractable Tonneau Covers Manufactured After 2017 # RTX89TR (yours is made after 2017, so you're good). This is an insanely expensive way to get a replacement key fob though, so I highly recommend looking for the F09-2029 harder than I did.

I purchased the retrax tonneau from an auction site and it didn’t work. So I was forced to buy the replacement remote and receiver. It was ridiculously expensive for what they sell you but what else are you going to do the cover is almost $3000 and if it doesn’t operate, then it’s worthless. The replacement fobs and receiver worked perfectly and I haven’t had any problem with it since but that’s the only way to solve the issue.
