Hello, I have a 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Sport HYBRID. Please identify the correct hitch for installation. The C22MJ states it will not fit the Crosstrek Hybrid. Thank you for the assistance, Karen in AZ

Hi Karen! The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C22MJ actually fits hybrid and non-hybrid models so you can use this on your 2026 Subaru Crosstrek Sport. The designation can be a bit confusing, the way it is listed means it fits the hybrid and everything else that is not the hybrid. The only version of the Crosstrek this hitch won't fit is the Wilderness model.

What will you be using the hitch for?

I just installed C22MJ on my 2026 Crosstrek Hybrid, it fit perfectly. I used the Subaru factory wiring harness which was plug & play. This is the second time I’ve used E-Trailer hitches and have been very pleased.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
