Question:

I see that the cable is a 1/2, What is the width of the cable end that goes into the lock? The bracket that I need to push it through is 3/4 of an inch.

Hey Burt, thanks for reaching out. I went out to our warehouse and measured the Trimax Trimaflex Keyed Cable Lock # TMX85SR. The end of the cable that goes into the lock is 0.85" in diameter at the widest point. It won't fit through a 3/4" hole. You'd have to enlarge the hole slightly to make that work.

What were you planning to use the lock to secure?
