Are both the camera and screen hardwired for power?

Hey Scott! The rear and side cameras on the Furrion Vision S+ Wireless RV Observation System w/ 3 Cameras # FR69DF will be hardwired on the trailer. They typically tie into the 12V running light circuit. The monitor plugs in using the 12V adapter or USB-C adapter in your tow vehicle so it is not hardwired. The same is true for the 7" screen version # FR64AD.

What kind of setup do you have?

Thanks for getting back to me. I don't have a trailer. I have a 2008 32' Georgetown Forest River RV. Would this similar to the installation on a trialer? Scott

@Scott yes it still works the same way for the cameras. The 12V adapter for the monitor is just like the old cigarette lighter ports. If you don't have a USB-C and have USB-A ports you could pick up a C to A adapter locally to power the monitor that way as well.
