Which Bearing Buddy Fits Landscape Trailer With 3,500 lb Axle

Question:

I looked at BB1980A-SS and saw there are many Bearing Buddy products. How do I know which one is right for my trailer? Its a 5x10 landscape single axle 3500lb

Hey Clinton, great question! The Bearing Buddy # BB1980A-SS you're referring to is designed to fit a 1.98" hub bore diameter. This is the same as the measurement pictured below for a grease cap.

Your typical 3,500 lb axle hub is going to match this measurement, but I would double check to be sure. If you have a different measurement, let me know in the comments below.

I put these bearing buddies on my boat with the blue marker on the inside,,,I love them with great results,,when pumping grease as soon as the blue collar moves you have enough grease without fear of blowing back seal,,good luck

With eTrailers help, we identified the correct Bearing Buddy. I followed instructions and they fit as advertised. Greased them with marine grade grease and all worked. I've not put many miles on them, but so far so good.
