Will Furrion Vision S + Camera System Work with 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500 with 2021 Imagine XLS

Question:

I have a furrion vision s 4.3 back up camera that I used on a 2021 Imagine Xls, and it worked fine while towing with my 2024 Silverado 2500. I am switching it to my new 2026 Imagine 2600rb. I have heard of the need for an adapter to deal with PWM , but it did not happen with the above listed truck . So is the issue with the Vision S+ ? I ask because I was considering upgrading to that camera, but don’t want to have to add the adapter.

Hey James, the need for an adapter with the Furrion Vision S camera systems is based on the truck that is being used and not the trailer. So if your current Vision S system is working with your Silverado then the Vision S + part # FR39DF would also work with your truck and the new camper. How did you like the Vision S?

Thanks for the information. We like the Vision S, although at our age it is a little dim especially in bright sunlight.

@JamesW I checked with Furrion and the Furrion Vision S+ is noticeably brighter and provides a much sharper picture than the older standard Vision S or Vision 1/2 models. This is due to the upgrade to 1080p high-definition cameras and improved monitor anti-glare, high-resolution panel technologies. So long story short the S+ will be a nice upgrade for you.
