Replacement RV Air Conditioner with Heat Pump for 2008 Monaco Dynasty

I have a 2008 Monaco Dynasty with three ducted AC units. I’m looking at possibly replacing a rear AC it has a Dometic MODEL 630516.331 PROD. NO. 991760410 SERIAL NO. 73901634. I use one micro air thermostat that controls all three. I’m looking for at least 15,000 BTU heat pump if it’s bigger that’s a plus that will work with my current system.

Hi Michael,
Currently, we don't offer any Dometic RV air conditioners, only their replacement parts so we'd need to go with a different brand of air conditioner. If you're wanting to upgrade, I'd suggest using the Furrion Variable Speed Chill Cube RV AC w/Heat Pump - White part # FR67TQ. It is rated for 18,000 Btus for cooling, 17,000 Btu rated heat pump, and works using a variable speed compressor that will adjust its output as temperatures change instead of cycling on and off. The Micro Air thermostat website says that it will work with Furrion brand air conditioners, so you'll be able to use it with the same thermostat. We also offer the unit in black if you prefer, part # FR97TQ.
You will need to replace the air distribution box along with the rooftop unit, due to a refrigerant change that was passed into law in 2025. The control boxes and wiring were changed to direct heat away from the refrigerant, so this newer unit will not match up with the previous unit air distribution box.

I have a 36 ft Keystone Laredo travel trailer . I manage a family trust in Ca and spend several months a year in Red Bluff Ca. The old dometic ac was working fine just didnt have the capa ity. I replaced it with a Furrion Chill Cube FR67TQ. Takes 1/2 current the dometic did, i am running off grid solar so thats important. It is quieter and on the 107 degree days we've had it kept the travel trailer cool all day. The heat pump brings the temp up quick when we have our cold nights. Took my friend and I a couple hours to install, we had access to a fork lift so that speeded things up. It was an easy install, everything bolted up no modifications needed. Worked right first time we turned it on. Only thing I would change is the remote. Id goto rf instead infrared so the remote would work from other rooms, its currently line of sight only. Great piece if equip, thinking about buying another one for our camper van
