Will the 3-way rocker switch work for the in/out flow on the fantastic fan?

Hey John, the Single Rocker Switch part # 37213835 does not change direction of the voltage so it would not work to open and close your Fan-Tastic roof vent. It would only work to either open or close. To have a switch that does both you'd need a DPDT like the # 37213345.

Thank you for answering, although I was referring to reversing the the direction of the fan blade for the circulation of air flow

@JohnP ah I see what you mean. For that you'd need a DPDT switch like the part # 37213345 which can reverse polarities like you'd need.

@JamesonC Thank you for the information but unfortunately, I ordered the other switch yesterday and it has already shipped. Do you think it will serve the purpose I need it for or will I need to reorder the above switch that you recommend? Unfortunately, that would mean another shipping fee. Thank You John

@JohnP it would only complete the circuit in one direction so you it wouldn't work to open and close.
