Question:
I have a new 2026 honda passport elite and I am trying to figure out how to get my two kayaks on the roof. I currently have 2 hullivators that we use and I was looking to use these on the passport but I am confused by weight limits. Some data says the limit for the far is 165 lbs and other data says it is 220lbs for the roof rails. SO multiple issues questions: - Wanted to use the HD crossbars but not sure how the hullivator would install to this as I cant find any video or good photos showing how it works with te endcaps. - If I used both hullivators how big would the HD crossbar need to be? - If I used one hullivator and purchased one showdown system how big would the HD crossbar need to be? Looking for some help here because I dont know how to make this work.

Hey Jason, the Yakima HD crossbar set part # Y23NB that fits your 2026 Honda Passport with raised siderails will work with your Thule Hullavators part # TH898. The bars are long enough and they have enough weight capacity as well so this would be a great solution. The Hullavators come with hardware that allows them to attach to crossbar top channels like what these bars have.
This roof rack has 60 inch bars which would be long enough for two Hullavators to fit easily.
This would be same for if you went with the Yakima ShowDown part # Y04081 as well. What kind of kayaks do you have?

We have 2 sea kayaks. 14 foot (55 lbs) and 16 foot (65 lbs). I think I have changed my plan and will probably go with the Thule wingbar evo 60" with the evo raised rails feet. I believe this will allow me to use one set of hullivator and a set of malone j cradles so I don't exceed my rail capacity. I assume I can purchase the wingbar 60" sepersly cause the combo you have on the site only gives a 53 " for the passport which I know is too short. One question on this setup. Can you confirm the weight that the Thule bars and towers can hold is 220lbs? Your combo packages says 165lbs but the individual components both say 220lbs.
