What's the Correct Passenger and Driver Side Wheel Center Cap for my RV?

I am looking at getting a set of these hub covers for my motorhome. Should I purchase two of the PXQ2020XL or one PXQ2020XL and one PXQ2020L to have left hand thread on drivers side? Or is the left hand thread even needed? Will the shorter length bolt be long enough to thread on if purchasing an extra long version for one side and regular length version for the other, or is regular length sufficient for both sides? 2005 Fleetwood Expedition on Freightliner Custom Chassis. Great question Eric, thanks for asking!
The thread direction is determined by the threaded mounting stud on the coach, not necessarily by which side of the vehicle it's on. To verify what you need, you'll remove the existing center cap and check the retaining nut or threaded mount:
If the retaining nut loosens by turning counterclockwise, it is a right hand thread and you would need the # PXQ2020XL version.
If the retaining nut loosens by turning clockwise, it is a left hand thread and you would need the # PXQ2020L version.
To determine whether the extra long version is required, measure how far the hub sticks out from the face of the wheel. If you can send that measurement, we can help confirm whether the standard length or extra long version is the best fit.
Do your current center caps have a Freightliner or Alcoa logo or are you moving to a plain stainless look?

Thank you for the reply. The hub sticks out approximately 5 inches from the face of the wheel. If that requires the extra long bolt, I can't find an option to buy the left hand thread kit with the longer bolt. Do you have a part number for the longer left hand thread bolt? I have a different type of center cap on the motorhome currently which requires to remove 5 of the 10 lug nuts to put it on. I'm going away from that style to this center bolt style for ease of removal when needed. My motorhome originally came from the factory with steel wheels and stainless inserts and I installed the aluminum wheels so I never had any brackets to install the hub covers to determine the left and right hand thread. I found information that Freightliner used the different threads for each side and I figured I'm just going to follow the manufacturer.
